Apparently guessing what world he was currently in, Lorien's eyes shone brightly with excitement knowing how much this would help him if his guess was right.
Unable to hold himself back, Lorien instantly threw away his playful attitude and stopped caring about the small game of "figuring the world himself by investigating".
Turning serious, Lorien looked into the distance as he activated his power causing his golden eyes to shine lightly.
[Clairvoyance]
With this ability operating, Lorien started manipulating it to observe some of the most important future events in Japan.
After all, that's where the story he saw in his previous world transpired.
*Swish*
In front of Lorien's eyes, scene after scene unfolded showing him the future.
From a young man called Yuta joining a sorcerer's school called Jujutsu High to another young man eating a finger which gave him both power and a curse and then joining the same school...
A white-haired man suppressing all sorcerers just to be sealed in the end and a massacre ensuing soon after...

Seeing all of this, a grin silently appeared on Lorien's face as he suddenly burst out laughing not caring about his surroundings.
"Hahahahaha!"

"WHA??!!!"
Hearing a sudden wild laugh suddenly sounding next to them, the five people who were chatting immediately reacted, jumping back in fright.
But their reaction didn't end there as 'Sarrah' the woman that Lorien was following immediately attacked in his direction following the source of the noise while the other four immediately followed her example and attacked with their own techniques.
[Blood Chain Technique!]
[Green and Yellow!]
[Puncture!]
*BOOOM!!*
With a billow of smoke appearing as a consequence, the five people still kept their vigilance, attentively observing their surroundings.
*Swish*
Suddenly, from the center of the smoke, right where their attacks had just landed a small humming noise suddenly sounded.
Then, as if removed with an eraser, the smoke present was silently wiped out from existence revealing a silver-haired young man standing in place with a speechless look on his face.
'I got too excited, I forgot to cancel the noise...'
'Well, it doesn't matter much now, I already got what I came here for anyways.'
'Moreover, I can now chat with them and get more information!'
'I should be able to easily gain access to this world's power system.'
'But...I should talk to them first...'
Deciding on this, a gentle smile appeared on Lorien's face as he spoke lightly.
"Umm...Hello?"
Even though Lorien had a friendly attitude, those present were still feeling vigilant towards him, after all, his looks were a bit exotic even in this world, especially his golden eyes.
Moreover, even though he stood right in front of them, they were still not able to detect his presence, they are only able to observe him using the naked eye.
This is of course very uncomfortable for those sorcerers who are used to detecting people using cursed energy.
"Who are you!" Spoke the blond-haired man with a serious look on his face as his muscles tensed ready to defend at any moment.
This is the same for his teammates who silently moved into a small formation so they can better defend against him in case he sneaks attack them.
Seeing their reaction, Lorien gave off a long sigh full of exhaustion as he almost face-palmed.
'Well...This is to be expected I guess.'
Shaking his head, Lorien spoke again but this time his voice was rather calm, it can even be called indifferent.
"Worry not! I am a human."
"If I wanted to kill you, I would have done it long ago."
"But hey, I guess I have to prove it, otherwise, I don't think that we'll be able to chat."
Saying this, Lorien abruptly disappeared from his location appearing right in the middle of their formation.
This happened so quickly that none of them were able to react, their eyes and brains registered his presence but their bodies are just not able to move that fast to react.
But that didn't matter either as the moment they tried using their curse energy and techniques to attack this intruder, something unbelievable happened which caused their eyes to shrink in fright.
"WH-WHAT'S HAPPENING??!!"
To their terror, they suddenly discovered that they were not able to mobilize the energy inside of their body.
No, not just their energy, even their bodies felt as if they were stuck in quicksand.
Tapping the shoulder of one of them, Lorien then disappeared again, reappearing in his previous location while also lifting the restriction he placed on them.
"Can we talk now?"
Feeling helpless, a rather calm-looking man nodded reluctantly as the others were still trying to figure out what was happening.
It's not like he has any other choice anyways.
"How can we help you?"
"Well, let's talk, I have a lot to ask..."

A while later, Lorien could be seen sitting in a conference room with the five people in front of him.
Holding a small cup of tea, he took small sips as he silently listened to them.
From the information he gathered from them, Lorien was able to gain a basic understanding of the 'reality' of this world.
'Things are never simple are they...'
'Well, I expected this world to be much more complex than what I've seen in the story, but I didn't expect the situation to be this chaotic.'
'The story in Japan is only the tip of the iceberg!'
'But, I do have a guess about what's going on and the reason why cursed spirits and sorcerers keep getting stronger year by year.'
'However, I still have to gather more information to make sure...'
Seeing Lorien lowering his head and falling into deep thought, the other people present in this meeting room decided to follow suit as each of them drifted into their own worlds.
'He doesn't appear to know much about the basic knowledge of the world, yet, he has deep knowledge about those complex things.'
'He isn't malicious, otherwise, he would have easily killed us there.'
'Moreover, he also isn't a cursed spirit as the technique we set here using heavenly restrictions would have alerted us.'
Giving him a deep look, Sarrah couldn't help but feel a bit curious.
'Who exactly is he?'
