At most, it gives people an incentive to remove the mask they have chosen to put on themselves.
After all, an Origin is what gave birth to said being in the first place; a being and his origin are not separate entities at all, rather, they are both one and the same.
This could also be seen in Lorien himself as even before starting his journey and awakening his power, he was always conflicted between accepting reality and following his dreams.
It's just that at that time, he chose to accept reality, which also somewhat affected him after gaining his power as this trait was amplified with him even starting to calculate and plan the smallest of things.
Of course, this doesn't mean that Lorien couldn't just ignore this and continue being this calculating, it's just that right now, he didn't want to.
As previously stated, origin doesn't affect a person's thoughts at all, so if one doesn't want to embrace it, he could just ignore it.
Being able to do it doesn't mean one has to.
This is similar to the previous case of the person who awakens the origin of [Evil] but still decides to act [Just], this does indeed hinder his growth, however, it still won't stop it.
It's just that Lorien doesn't have to do this as there is no need to suppress his own nature as it isn't anything like the aforementioned [Evil].
If that were the case, Lorien wouldn't embrace it even if it were to help him become stronger a lot more quickly, he just wouldn't bother.
This is analogous to how he refuses to use his power to devour a world which he most probably can do.
In Lorien's opinion, the measure of a person's true character and personality can only be achieved if said person is given a chance to do both good and evil with no real consequence yet he still chooses to do good, or at the very least stay neutral as Lorien chose to be.
If a person's choices are based solely on circumstances, outside pressure, and social constraint, then those aren't truly choices.
However, thankfully, Lorien didn't have to bother with such moral dilemmas as in his case, there is no need to suppress his nature at all.
Suppressing [Dreams] is like suppressing hope, it is completely self-defeating.
So instead of suppressing it, why not embrace it, not to mention that [Reality] is still part of his power and origin, so he doesn't have to suddenly start acting recklessly like a moron or a shonen protagonist.
The change he has to do wasn't actually that great at all, as all that was required is to just worry less about things and to live his life more freely.
He just has to keep a balance, It is as simple as that.
However, right now, Lorien didn't have time to care about this as he could feel that the moment he realized the true nature of his power, a sublimation occurred.
At this moment, Lorien could feel that his power was transforming, no, to be more precise, it was just showing its true nature.
Closing his eyes, Lorien's mind seemed to merge with this power allowing him to feel every slight change.
The first of which was his perception of the world and his senses.
For perception, Lorien namely has two, the first being his 'Dream Perception' which allows him to sense and absorb dreams in a certain radius, and the second is his newly awakened 'Reality Sense' which allows him to sense reality for what it really is.
However, following this transformation, both of those are now gone as they somehow merged together becoming a thing very similar to 'Observation Haki' and 'Divine Sense' while also keeping the qualities and abilities of both those 'senses'.
Now, Lorien could sense and 'observe' everything in an 1124-meter radius as if he was using his own eyes while also still being able to absorb dreams and see through falsehood.
Feeling this, he couldn't help but become a bit fascinated, never in his life had he observed the world in such clarity.
However, things didn't end there as the 1124 meters preception limit was somewhat 'lifted', or to be more precise, it became more natural.
Previously, this limit was like a stone and functioned very mechanically as such:
-> If distance 'equal' or 'more than' 1124 meters then perception stop.
At first glance, there may not seem to be an issue with that, however, if we were to take into consideration how normal human perception works, this would seem rather bizarre.
After all, for humans, perception gets reduced gradually as it just becomes blurred the more distant things are.
However, this distance still remains relevant as it is the radius where Lorien's perception is unimpeded and remeans clear.
Going beyond that distance, his perception starts getting blurrier until it fades away on its own.
It's just that this is still not the end, as Lorien also discovered that this is just his 'normal' perception range without him using any of his power or energy to boost it.
If he were to do so, this perception range will exponentially increase to an unknown range depending on how much power Lorien uses.
For example, now with Lorien fully releasing his energy, not to mention this 1124 meters radius, he can even clearly overlook the clouds in the sky and rocks deep underground.
It's just that the mutation and transformation of his perception wasn't the only thing that changed as Lorien could also feel that he was much 'closer' to the concepts of [Reality and Dreams] which inadvertently allowed him to reduce the cost of using his abilities.
For example, the same ability will now cost less than half of the energy he would have used to previously launch it.
Feeling this, Lorien couldn't help but feel overjoyed as this indirectly doubled his strength not to mention that with the use of his newly awakened 'Divine Sense' he now has a better view of his surroundings which allows him to better utilize his power.
