"That is only half true!" Responded Lorien.
"Then what is it? And what power system are you talking about? Moreover, isn't your energy not spreadable?" Continued Yuki pressing for answers.
"This has nothing to do with my energy, the power system that I want to create is a brand new one!"
"But this still doesn't answer my first question."
"Then let me ask you again, why were jujutsu sorcerers born in the first place?"
Hearing this question, Yuki paused for a moment not knowing what Lorien was up to.
If it was before, she would have immediately answered with 'killing cursed spirits', however, she now knew that this was only the incomplete answer.
With this in mind, she fell into deep thoughts trying to guess what Lorien was getting at.
'Jujutsu sorcerers...killing cursed spirits...purify energy...become absorbable...WAIT! Purify energy!'
Reaching this link in her chain of thoughts, Yuki's eyes brightened as she guessed what Lorien was planning, however, she still wanted a clear confirmation.
"Are you saying that if the new power system can replace the purifying function of the old system then we could safely replace it?"
Hearing this, Lorien looked at Yuki with some appreciation and responded.
"Exactly!"
Getting the answer she wanted, Yuki's eyes shone brighter as the fire of hope lit up again, however, she still wanted to know more about the details, after all, she didn't want to work hard just to make things worse.
"How are you planning to launch this power system? and is it really viable? can you please tell me more about it?"
Hearing this, Lorien fell silent, however, that wasn't because he had no plan, rather it was just that he didn't know how to express it.
Actually, this whole idea of creating a new power system wasn't something he came up with just for fun, rather, it is something he had been thinking about for a long time.
However, only now after the sublimation did he finally decide to put his thoughts into action.
It's just that before talking about the power system, we first need to talk about the objective and reason behind making it.
You see, Lorien has noticed that he was growing stronger in a very easy and simple manner as all he needs to do is simply absorb Dream Energy, Reality, or just sleep for a couple of thousands of years to absorb his own dreams and grow.
However, this is far from ideal, after all, compared to those who grow stronger with hard work and practice, his willpower is very much lacking.
Not to mention, he also lacks the tempering that comes with experience and combat.
This may not be an issue when battling those who are weaker or have abilities inferior to his, but when facing beings who have power of the same level as his, there is a big chance that he'll be suppressed.
To remedy this, Lorien has been practicing another path which is [Martial Arts] while also trying to absorb and learn as much as possible from each world he visits.
However, this is still not enough, after all, there is no clear path to walk on which made things very random and caused Lorien to feel as if there is no direction to move towards.
And so, Lorien decided to create his own path, his own way!
Moreover, he also needs to find a way to reach the [Law level] and in the future the [Trancandent Level], and why not even higher realms.
However, he very much doubts the possibility of him reaching those levels by simply absorbing energy.
Not to mention that there is another benefit to creating a power system which is being its 'Ancestor', as such, he'll receive feedback as more people practice it and grow stronger using it.
Moreover, there is the [Luck] he receives after giving the world a new path!
So with all of this in mind, he began planning this creation, it's just that weirdly and luckily enough, he soon found out that he had miraculously collected most of the elements he needed.
However, to make things clear, Lorien doesn't want to create a power system like the ones he saw in those cultivation novels, that would be just making things hard for himself.
The power system Lorien wants to make is actually a very simple one that allows for the quick birth of strong people, to be on the just and righteous side not affecting the world negatively, and to still function as a filter and a way to purify the world, to have a strong combat power in the same level, to not be complex, and to most importantly allow the 'path takers' to strengthen and forge their will power.
This may sound hard to do, however, Lorien had already thought of a way to achieve it and it is based on six very important things.
The first is the fact that all people dream and when they do so, a dream world is automatically and innately created, the second is something he had gained just after reaching this world which is the ability to create 'Nightmare Creatures' similar to cursed spirits.
The third is his study and knowledge of negative and positive energy, the fourth is the 'Ability Seed' he learned to make from the Demon Slayer world, the fifth is the breathing technique, and finally, it is Lorien's ability to turn dreams into reality.
So based on those pillars, Lorien plans to divide this power system into 3 levels.
The first is [Awakened], where the person awakens an ability and gains energy.
This ability is based on the 'Ability Seed' from the Demon Slayer world and the jujutsu techniques he is planning to study.
As for the energy, Lorien plans to make it a neutral energy mixing both the negative and positive energy keeping the nature and characteristics of both.
This level signifies that the 'Path Walker' reached the [Extraordinary Level].
