He did consider creating something such as a totem in different towns to collect energy for him
But after pondering about it for a while he decided to think of something else as he doesn't want to travel the whole world town by town putting a totem in each one, it would be too exhausting, not to mention all the other issues
But even then he didn't completely scrap the idea but decided to leave it as a last resort

Sitting in the backyard, Lorien observed everything around, enjoying the view
This place got demolished because of his battle with Akaza, but now it returned to its original state thanks to Lorien who used his ability to restore it
Noticing an empty patch of land he walked slowly towards it holding a Mikan tree seed
Digging a small hole, he put the seed inside before refilling it
[Dream/Reality]: Grow
As Lorien's power took effect the seed he just planted started growing at an incredible rate
The seed quickly sprouted as a sapling quickly grew, but it didnt stop there as the sapling continued its development non-stop, this process finally yielded a mature tree full of oranges
Watching all of this happen Lorien felt amazed, even though he was the one who caused it, all he did, in reality, was provide energy to accelerate its growth letting nature take its course
No matter how many times he watched it, nature never fails to amaze
'Huh?'
Just then, as he was about to harvest some oranges, an idea suddenly popped into his mind, it was like a sudden enlightenment
'Tree...Tree...Hahaha, It may work!'
After finally getting a suitable idea Lorien was very impatient to try it, so he started directly
[Dream/Reality]: Dream Tree Seed
The creation of this seed instantly consumed 1/2 of his energy reserves
The seed Lorien just created is the seed of a Japanese Cherry, but that's just the exterior appearance, No, even the exterior appearance will probably mutate after it grows
After discovering the ability to give things characteristics, Lorien used it very often as it proved to be extremely useful
The characteristics Lorien gave this seed were
[Dream Absorption]: It is the ability to automatically absorb dreams on its own in its 'perception range' which grows as the tree matures and grows
[Energy Storage & Partitioning]: As the tree absorbs dream energy it stores and partitions it, 40% of the energy goes back to the World as a 'sacrifice', 40% stays stored there waiting for Lorien to collect it, as for the last 20% it goes to the tree itself allowing it to evolve
[Connection & Network]: This allows it to detect the location of all other Dream trees and connect to them using their roots, giving them the ability to share stored energy and send it from one tree to another
Thanks to this Lorien won't have to travel to different places to get the accumulated energy, it'll come to him on its own
The reason Lorien made the tree in the first place is to get energy quicker, so one tree won't do it, and now with this ability, most of the trouble is solved
[Protection]: The tree can use the energy stored inside of it to protect itself in cases of danger executing different attacks
[Hidden & Phaseless]: To those who don't have the ability related to dreams and reality they won't be able to see it nor can they touch it, unless of course, Lorien gives them the ability to by making the tree not hide from them
[Birth]: This is arguably the most useful characteristic, it gives the tree the ability to create new seeds after it reaches a certain level of growth, and then it catapults it in a random direction, this keeps happening until it sends seeds in all direction
Thanks to this even if Lorien does nothing the tree will expand its range on its own
[Roots]: The roots of the Dream Tree will expand and grow until it covers the whole town underneath, those roots are very small in size with the characteristics of Hidden and Phaseless applied to them
Some may ask as to why Lorien is doing such a complex thing and not just make a simple Totem and be done with it
It's quite simple, it's all about the perception and absorption range
If he were to make a totem to absorb dream energy, the energy required for the improvement of the perception range is astronomical, which Lorien simply can't afford for now
That's why he chose a tree, its because of the roots, even if the tree only has a perception range of 10m, Lorien could use its roots as antennas
So as the tree grows, its roots will create a complete network underneath the town not leaving a single spot, free, and because of its hidden and phaseless characteristic no one could see it, feel its presence or touch it
With the roots covering the whole town not to mention a 10m perception range, even a 2m one would be enough
Moreover, after the Dream Tree covers the whole Town it'll send one single root as a 'connection cable' to other trees as to establish a connection and a complete network
Looking at the normal looking seed in his hand Lorien felt excited as he soon started daydreaming, Imagining himself collecting the dream energy of this world and instantly reaching the Law level
Thinking of this he almost started drolling
Shacking his head Lorien then chose a place in the middle of the backyard and then proceeded to plant it, yeet'ing the previously planted tree in that location away
Soon after it got planted it started growing at a very fast rate, in a matter of seconds the seed sprouted as a sapling appeared growing quickly
It's obvious that it won't take long before a fully mature tree appears, and from there all Lorien has to do is wait
But he'll probably need to give dream energy himself at first to help it grow faster and allow its roots to expand outwards
'Hmm...How should I plant those seeds in different towns, should I go there personally or pay someone to do it'

"Lorien~~ Someone is here looking for you"
Hearing this Lorien felt a bit puzzled as he didn't know anyone else other than Saigai in this world, so he asked in bewilderment
"Did they state who they are?"

"They said they are from the Demon Slayer Corps"
"Huh?"
Hearing this Lorien fell silent for a moment before responding as a thoughtful smile appeared on his face
"Send them to the Dojo I'll be there in a second..."
