With their objective in sight, both Lorien and Saigai increased their speed!
*Swish*
*Swish*
With each step, they disappeared just to appear a great distance away, it's practically impossible to follow their speed with the naked eye.
"Finally! We made it there!"
Reaching the school, the couple then jumped over the gate in one stride and landed inside, following this, Lorien immediately began looking around and analyzing the situation.
'It seems that the zombie virus had already spread across the school...'
'I can still feel some presences inside, so it's not that big of an issue'
'But before that, I need to clean this place up'
Determining this, he turned his head to Saigai and said.
"Let's clear up this place first!"
"Okay!"
Nodding, Saigai then started walking towards the nearest zombie as she held her necklace changing its form into that of a sword.
"Wait! Wait! Where are you going?"
"To kill them..." Responded Saigai puzzled as to why she was stopped.
"Looking for them one by one would be a pain, let's make them come to us."
"And how would we do that?"
"Noise!"
"Noise?"
"Yes, Noise! Those zombies are attracted to sound, so if we make enough of it they'll come to us!"
"...Okay then"
"But before that..."
Before enacting their plan, Lorien looked at the iron gate they had jumped over and then looked at the other gate far away at the car lot.
By making such noise, the zombies at school aren't the only ones that will be attracted, those outside also will.
So before doing anything, Lorien needs to reinforce the place and make sure that zombies outside won't be able to make it in.
After all, even though they aren't dangerous for the couple, they are very annoying, it's similar to a bunch of flies, harmless but very irritating.
Taking a couple of steps, Lorien then put his hand on the gate and used his ability.
[Dream/Reality]
Then, it was as if a glitch appeared in reality as the iron gate was abruptly changed into a wall.
"I'll do the same for the other entrance, then, we can start" Said Lorien jumping away towards the car lot.
Seeing this, Saigai didn't follow him this time, she just started looking around in interest at everything around her.
"So schools in this world are like this...."
"No, they'll also be like this in my home world in the future..."
But after looking around for a couple more moments, she quickly lost interest as she was then immersed in her own thoughts.
'This world is great for me, I can grow stronger here, but it isn't good for Lorien'
Similar to how Lorien knew how her power works and how she gets her energy, she also knew his, so based on this, it wasn't that hard to infer his thoughts.
'The lack of humans makes dream energy scarce, so he probably doesn't want to stay here...'
'So now, we are faced with a couple of options, either I give up this world and leave with him or he stays with me until I finish absorbing the energy around...'
'But those aren't actually the most optimal choice, the better option is to actually leave me here and then come back to pick me up later...'
'Sigh...After building the base, we need to talk a bit...'
'Oh..here he is!'
Feeling Lorien's presence quickly approaching, she turned her head to the side just in time for Lorien to land there.
"Done! I finished reinforcing it! Let's begin!"
"Okay, I am ready!"
Nodding, Lorien then used his power and created a huge speaker with a microphone attached to it.
How is it powered you ask? a battery!
Holding the microphone close to his mouth Lorien then started speaking, his voice greatly amplified by the device.
"1, 2, 3, TEST! TEST! TEST!"
"Umm...It works!"
*Cough*
"MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE!!"

Meanwhile, on top of a rooftop that has its entrance blockaded using chairs and tables.
The young man who ran earlier from the staircase could be seen sitting next to an orangy-brown-haired girl with a fresh corpse lying next to them.
"What is it?"
"Well, I want to really know what's going on."
"That was blunt."
"Why would I..."
But then, just as the young man was about to finish responding, a loud voice suddenly sounded interrupting him.
"MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE!!"
Hearing this voice, both of them looked at each other in shock.
"What was that?"
"I don't know"
"Let's check it."
Then, they immediately ran to the front to see what was happening.

At the same time, inside the school, a somewhat chunky young man was standing next to a girl who has pink hair and two ponytails.
"T-Takagi-san, Do you happen to have your cell phone on you? It's against the rules, but..."
"I am an honors student!" lashed out the girl before continuing in a calmer voice "Who would I even call if I had mine?"
"Ugh, well, there's always..."
"MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE!!"
Getting interrupted by Lorien's voice, the two of them fell silent.
"Should we check?" Said the young man.
"No, wait! Stay silent!"
And indeed, waiting was the right course of action, as suddenly, a wave of zombies passed right next to them running towards the noise.
Looking at the zombies running past them, the young man's eyes shrank while the girl held her breath in fright.
This lasted for a couple more moments before no more zombies came.
'There should be no zombies left...'
Looking around and making sure that this truly was the case, the girl then finally walked toward the window to see what was happening.
"Come! Let's see!"

This was also the case for another small group composed of two women, one of which held a wooden sword while the other hugged a bag full of medicine.
"The staff room? What a difficult request you made."
"But everyone keeps their car keys in there..."
"MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE!!"
Hearing this noise, this small group also did the same as the previous one and quickly hid away knowing that a wave of zombies will soon appear.
And that is indeed what happened, as just a moment following their action, a slew of zombies ran past them.
'Come let's check it...'

Of course, those small groups aren't the only ones alive at the school as there are still a group of students and some teachers who were still alive and were also attracted to the noise.
But having such a large group in such a situation isn't great as it's hard to control, moreover, not all those people are as smart as the previous small groups.
And because of this, there were still a few unlucky people who didn't hide and were caught in the wave of zombies that were running towards the noise.
"AHHH!!!!"
"NOO!!!!"
"AGHHHHH!!!"
"MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE!!"
"MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE!!"
But luckily for the other survivors, those zombies didn't dwell much in place as they soon started running again towards the noise.
*Huff* *Hufff* *Huffff*
"I thought we were dead!"
"I-I T-Think I shat myself."
"Ewww"
"Maybe we should check the origin of the noise..."
"No, let's just run!"
"Yes"
"No"
After getting torn between those two opinions, finally, most of them decided to run away, while a small group decided to check out the noise.
"What was that voice?"
