Heading towards the source of the voice, Lorien found Saigai laying lazily on the couch, her face full of contentment.
"It appears that you are enjoying yourself!" Said Lorien.
"I have never felt this full."
"Better get used to it then, I don't think this energy will get consumed anytime soon."
"I hope it never will!"
"You really like the place huh..."
"This is heaven!"
Turning his head towards the burning city and then toward her, Lorien's mouth couldn't help but twitch.
"Only you would call this heaven!"
"What can I do, it's innate."
"Okay, Okay, I am not here for this, I want you to test something."
Hearing Lorien's voice suddenly turning serious, Saigai sat up from her laying position and asked.
"What is it?"
"I want you to check if you can manipulate the Source Energy inside of your body!"
"Huh? But isn't that impossible?" Responded Saigai, confusion filling her face.
She still remembers all of the futile attempts she previous made when she was in the previous world, but even then she still followed Lorien's instructions out of trust.
Closing her eyes, she immediately began trying to manipulate it, and it only took a couple of minutes for her to open them again and respond in astonishment.
"THIS?? It actually moved!!"
"So I am not the only one..."
"What is happening??!"
"I have no idea! I just gave it a try and it worked."
"Weird..."
"Yes, It is."
After saying this Lorien then fell silent, sat on the couch, closed his eyes, and then started pondering.
Seeing this, Saigai who was about to speak decided not to as she also closed her eyes and continued trying to gain further control of her energy.
'So I am not the only one who is now able to manipulate the energy in his body, Saigai can also do it!' Thought Lorien.
'This means that this is not a personal thing, it most likely has something to do with the world...'
'Did we gain this ability by traveling to this world or was it because we were shackled by the previous world?'
'It may also be the being who sent me there who did all of this!'
*Sigh*
'There are a lot of possibilities...'
If Moira were to hear his thoughts, she would have probably started screaming something in the likes of "SLANDER! It has nothing to do with me!! I demand a lawyer!"
And that is indeed the case, after giving Lorien the orb that allows him to travel to different worlds, she did not intervene at all in his growth so she is really innocent this time.
What actually happened is that by chance, the demon slayer world has very strict rules that prohibit the use and manipulation of energy.
Those rules are unbreakable for those who aren't at least at the [Law] level, this made it so that everyone there cannot manipulate their energy, the most they can do is just use it as fuel.
And now, that they have finally left it, those 'shackles' were finally lifted, so unless they enter another world with similar rules they can now freely manipulate and use their energy!
Of course, this is not something Lorien knew about so he kept brainstorming and trying to futilely analyze the reason behind it.
But thankfully he didn't waste a lot of time on this, as shortly after this, he gave up knowing that there are not enough information for him to infer anything.
'Whatever, It's a good thing anyways...'
Throwing all those thoughts behind, Lorien then turned his head toward Saigai who had her eyes closed.
*Sigh*
"I want to talk to you about something."
With Lorien's voice sounding, Saigai immediately stopped her practice and then looked at him in puzzlement.
"It's about staying in this world." Said Lorien.
Hearing this, Saigai immediately figured out what he was about to say.
"Ah! So it's about that! I was also about to talk to you about it, but I didn't have the chance."
"Is that so?"
"Yeah...I know that this world isn't a good place for you as there is a severe lack of Dream Energy, so I assumed you wouldn't want to stay here."
"That is indeed the case."
"Why don't you leave me in this world and go to the next one, you can then come back later after I have completely finished absorbing the energy here:"
"That's exactly what I was thinking, but there are some things I need to deal with before I leave."
Feeling Puzzled, Saigai couldn't help but ask.
"What things?"
"I have already helped you with the base, next, I am going to make a complete zombie vaccine, and there is also the issue of nuclear weapons..."
"Nuclear weapons?"
"Oh, you probably don't know them."
Only then did Lorien remember that Saigai came from an age that predated the birth of those weapons, realising this, he pointed his finger at the TV causing it to turn on.
"Watch!"
With Lorien using his power, scenes of nuclear explosions, their radius, effect, and what may happen if many exploded at the same time were broadcasted.
Watching those explosions, Saigai's eyes shrank in fright.
"Can our immortality survive this?!"
"Frankly, I don't know if it could, but most likely, as long as we aren't at the center of the explosion, we should be alright."
As much as Lorien is amused looking at her shocked face, he finally decided to calm her down.
"But you don't have to worry much about this, after dealing with the virus, I'll go and destroy all the nukes on the planet!"
"Did you see something with your clairvoyance?"
"Yeah, When I previously checked what caused the virus, I saw many futures where humans choose the self-destruction route and took everyone and everything with them, so I am going to prevent that!"
"Maniacs!"
"To be honest, I can't blame them..."
*Knock*
*Knock*
*Knock*
"Huh?"
Pausing, both Lorien and Saigai stopped their talk as they turned their head toward the front door.
"Who could that be?"
"I don't know, let's check..."
