The Bloodshed God Palace Battle was finally underway.
A group of six Deity experts was currently assaulting a black venomous bug. Particles were forming in the surrounding space which would crumble ever so often at times; other times, it was cut… The six experts were putting all their power and techniques on display, leading the black venomous bug to howl and struggle. Its injuries were getting more serious by the second before a thin sword finally pierced its body, out of which fresh blood spurted out. At that point, the venomous bug finally stopped struggling, though the other five experts quickly followed with a few more strikes.
The six experts then looked up at the enormous blood-colored list which now contained a total of 191 names, with new names appearing ever so often.
"Haha, fellow gentlemen, my luck was good enough to net me the last hit on that venomous bug." A rangy man holding onto two swords laughed. "It's only by teaming together that we'll have any hope to net a place in the top hundred. If each of us were to move alone, we'd all likely take spots lower even than the 500th! Instead, you can all see that Brother Ni is ranked 15th, while I am already in the top 200."
"Alright, alright. It's too early to celebrate; we four have yet to enter the list."
One's rank was determined by how many fatal blows they landed on venomous bug!
"Let's keep going. I don't think our luck can be this poor."

In the air some three mountains away, Xue Ying was also looking for venomous bugs. He glanced over to the side, where he saw those six Deity experts killing a bug together. Are they some of those Deities with weaker combat power? They're likely aware that it would be impossible for them to get spots in the top hundred if they were to move alone, so they chose to act together.
I should avoid them. Xue Ying was on full alert. With so many Deity experts acting all around, he had to be incredibly wary of any who might have grasped grade one Deity Hearts! If he wasn't careful, he'd be killed and sent back immediately.
The records marked at least one instance of an expert with huge combat power being killed prematurely by a group of Deities during every single Myriad Flower Feast.
However, even if he carefully avoided them, how fast would a group of Deities rushing over to him be?

It even affected Xue Ying's true body which was hiding in the Mirage, which served to greatly shock him.
"I've found his true body." Of this group of experts, only the gray-robed man was able to discover Xue Ying's true body. He had just easily dealt with his concealment.
"Kill." A thunder blade moved through the sky along an arc, pierced the void, and finally reached Xue Ying.
"Go." Countless densely interwoven strands of white web were also sent over to envelop Xue Ying's position.
"Extinguish." A dazzling light condensed and converged on Xue Ying's position from every direction.
All those Deity experts were simultaneously displaying their offensive skills.

Xue Ying was so frightened that, without a second thought, he immediately switched positions with one of his mirage bodies.

There, he turned to look around him and helplessly muttered to himself, Normally, there would truly be few people who can discover my true body if it hides in the Mirage. But the people who get to participate in this battle are all quite capable… It's likely that, in any group of ten, there would be one who's able to discover my true body.
The Mirage was powerful, but it's ability wasn't absolute. The gray-robed man from before, for instance, was employing the Minute Deity Heart trained to an extremely high stage through a domain-related secret skill he created himself! This domain sensory ability was one that broke through the deepest level of fundamental particles, which left Xue Ying unable to escape it even when hiding in the Mirage.
There were other similar skills that could easily break his concealment, such as secret skills with inherent space-related profound mysteries. Xue Ying discovered that there was quite a number of Deities who could easily discover his true body, seeing how the participants in this battle were all experts with high realms. They might not necessarily succeed in defeating him, but they could at least discover the position of his true body.
Alas, the only thing I can do is be a little more careful. It wasn't long before he discovered another venomous bug starting to form in a distant cave. He immediately went over.
His combat power actually left him in a rather awkward position.
He had no way of fighting the most powerful experts, like those who had grade one Deity Hearts.
But the people with lower combat power were well aware that they had no hope of success in moving alone, so they decided to team up. In some cases, they would even set down oaths to ensure that they would not betray one another.
It was only those with combat power that was closer to the top…that would often refrain from teaming up.
To them, whether they teamed up or not would have no effect on how efficiently they could search for venomous bugs, while problems would often arise in regards to how the prey would be split. Equally? Neither party saw any benefit in that.

The only problem was that quite a few of these people with great combat power would fall under a group's joint assault.
