272 Moving
At the beginning of a new month, Bai Qi and his little sister started to pack up to move to the apartment on the west side of the city.
Bai Xi Xi entered the house and was surprised to see how the place had changed. She was especially surprised to see that her room was decorated in shades of pink. There was a large study at the corner and a tall bookshelf. On the other side, her bed was decorated with soft, fluffy plushies.
The little girl was unable to react for a long time. She began to worry that everything in front of her was nothing but a dream.
Seeing that Bai Xi Xi stood in front of the door for a long time, Zhang Li Xue walked over to her side and asked, “Xi Xi, how is it? Do you like them?”
Bai Xi Xi finally snapped out of her trance. She turned around and looked at her Pretty Sister.
“Last time, you mentioned that you like pink,” Zhang Li Xue said. “This is why I asked them to paint your room in this color.”
“Pretty Sister, is this really my room?”
In the previous apartment, Bai Xi XI’s room was very simple. The wall was painted white. There was a small table and a single bed. This new room was much bigger than her previous room.
Zhang Li Xue nodded. “Un. If you don’t like the arrangement, you can tell me. I’ll make a change for you.”

“Then, I’m glad.” Zhang Li Xue smiled. Her gaze fell on the suitcases and boxes beside the door. “Do you need me to help you arrange your room?”
Bai Xi Xi was about to nod when she saw the number of boxes in the living room. Her brother was still busy carrying up a few others.
“Pretty Sister, I’m fine,” Bai Xi Xi said. “You should go and help my brother instead. My things aren’t that much. I can do it myself.”
Zhang Li Xue laughed. She stretched her hand and patted the girl on her head. “Then, you should do it slowly. Just call me if you need my help, alright?”

“Then, I’ll help to carry your boxes into your room first. They are quite heavy.”

Fortunately, they only need to move a few personal belongings and did not carry much furniture with them.
Bai Qi put down a box on the table. When he looked up again, his little fairy was holding a bottle of drinking water for him.
“Have a drink first,” Zhang Li Xue said. She watched as the man unscrewed the cap and smiled. “Doctor Bai, you have worked hard. Do you need help to carry anything?”
“Just leave them,” Bai Qi said. “It’s not good for you to carry heavy things. I can’t make my landlord do heavy stuff, right?”

Bai Qi put the bottle on the table and pulled his girlfriend’s hand. “You can help to arrange a few stuff. I’m not good with decorating the place.”
“Then, you can trust me,” Zhang Li Xue said. “I’m sure that you will be satisfied.”
Bai Qi made a sudden move to steal a kiss on her lips.
Zhang Li Xue was stunned by his action. It took her a few seconds before she could react. Zhang Li Xue scanned her eyes around the room and finally heaved in relief upon finding that Bai Xi Xi was in her room. “You!”
Bai Qi laughed when the girl hit him on his chest.
Although Bai Xi Xi already knows about their relationship, Zhang Li Xue was worried that the girl would witness something that she shouldn’t have.
Just in time, the staff from the moving company walked in to ask him to sign a few documents.
Seeing that the man was busy, Zhang Li Xue quickly make her escape. She grabbed a box and started to arrange a few things in the kitchen.
“I’m going to order our lunch,” Bai Qi spoke as he appeared beside her. “What do you want to eat?”
Zhang Li Xue turned around. “Just order anything you like.” She thought of a few things and spoke again. “Later, let’s go to the market nearby. How about a hot pot to celebrate you moving over?”
Bai Qi smiled. “Miss Zhang, you don’t need to go home earlier today?”
“I already told my mom that I won’t be home for dinner,” Zhang Li Xue spoke.
“Alright.” Bai Qi nodded. He figured out that they should go and buy a few things as well.
The three of them continued to tidy up the house together. Soon, the food they ordered arrived. Bai Qi went over to take the food. When he entered the room again, Zhang Li Xue was in the master bedroom, hanging some of his clothes in the wardrobe.
His heart warmed as he saw this scene.
Bai Qi leaned on the door frame and continued to watch her for a long time. It seemed that he had forgotten to call her for lunch.

“What are you doing?” Zhang Li Xue had a shy smile on her face. “Did the food arrive?”

“Let’s just stay like this for a while,” Bai Qi said. He inhaled a deep breath and the corner of his lips tilted into a smile. He really liked hugging his little fairy like this. Her body was soft and she had a very nice scent.
