290 Company’s Anniversary
With the company’s anniversary coming closer, Zhang Li Xue and the rest of the hotel’s staff were busy making their preparation.
Zhang Yi Hai and the triplets took a few days off from college to attend this ceremony as well. The boys came over to the hotel to help with the final preparation.
The celebration with the public was held in the morning while the banquet will be held at night.
The Zhang family was busy the whole day. They only managed to get a brief rest before they had to come out and prepare for the banquet.
To save time, the family stayed in their usual suits to get ready.
However, instead of staying in the same room with her family, Zhang Li Xue went to Fang Su Jin’s room to change her clothes.
A few days ago, Fang Su Jin’s mother finally gave up on setting her up with another man. The mother and daughter were finally on good terms, however, Fang Su Jin decided to stay at the hotel for a few more days until the celebration ended.
Zhang Li Xue was her best friend and she wanted to help with everything she can.
After getting ready for a while, Zhang Li Xue finally came out of the bathroom in her dark blue dress.

Fang Su Jin watched her friend with a dazed look in her eyes. She finally snapped out of her trance and heaved a sigh. “It’s rare to see you wearing a dress like this,” Fang Su Jin said. “I’m sure that your Doctor Bai would be unable to look away from you.”
Zhang Li Xue had a sheepish look on her face. “Alright. Stop teasing me.”
“Come over here.” Fang Su Jin pulled her to sit down on the chair. “Li Xue, come over. Let me help you with your makeup. You can trust me on this.”
Other than paintings, Fang Su Jin was especially good at makeup. In the past, Fang Su Jin had helped her a few times.
The phone on the bedside table buzzed.
Zhang Li Xue quickly checked the message and a faint smile curled on her lips when she saw the text from her boyfriend.
“See the smile on your face.” Fang Su Jin clicked her tongue. “I already know that it’s your sweetheart.”
“Mmm... He just finished his shift. He will come over later.”
“Then, I have to help you look pretty,” Fang Su Jin said. “Let’s see how shocked he will be when he sees you later.”
Someone pressed on the doorbell just as Fang Su Jin had done with her friend’s hair styling.
Fang Su Jin put her hands on Zhang Li Xue’s shoulder. “Li Xue, just sit down. I’ll go and look at the door.”
Before Zhang Li Xue could answer, Fang Su Jin had already walked over to the door. She peeked through the peephole and took a step back.
After a brief hesitation, Fang Su Jin finally opened the door.
Zhang Yi Hai’s tall figure stood in front of her. The man was dressed formally in his suit and tie.
Their gazes met and Zhang Yi Hai could not hide his surprise upon seeing her. “Sister Fang.” He was not expecting to see Fang Su Jin appear at the door.
The last time he met Fang Su Jin was a few months ago. A gossip led his father to misunderstand their relationship. Ever since then, Zhang Yi Hai was embarrassed to see Fang Su Jin again.
Now that the woman was standing in front of him in her evening dress, Zhang Yi Hai suddenly did not know how he should react.
“Come in.” Fang Su Jin stepped aside to let him in. “Your sister is getting ready. She should come out in a while.”

Seeing that his sister was dressed prettily made him a little speechless.

The three of them left the room and headed into the elevator.
