When she finally composed herself, Zhang Li Xue realized that her face was buried in Bai Qi’s chest. His scent filled her nose and Zhang Li Xue wrapped her arms around his body, hugging the man tightly.
Zhang Li Xue found that she liked the scent on Bai Qi.
There was a little bit of his cologne as well as the disinfectant from the hospital.
Thinking of the way Bai Qi had kissed her earlier made her feel giddy. Zhang Li Xue raised her head and stared at the man with her bright eyes.
Their gazes met and Bai Qi let out a chuckle. Then, he raised a hand and covered her eye with it. His wife’s eyes were too adorable. If she continued to stare at him like that, perhaps he would not be able to restrain himself.
“What are you doing?” Zhang Li Xue laughed. “Why are you covering my eyes?”
“Don’t look at me like that.”
