429 Sketching
Fang Su Jin scolded herself as those thoughts came to her mind. She quickly looked away from Zhang Yi Hai and pressed the ice cube around the swollen area around her eyes.
Actually, after giving her eyes a bit of massage, the swelling was not as bad as she thought. At least, Fang Su Jin thought that she did not look ridiculous in front of her boyfriend.
Since Zhang Yi Hai allowed her to go around the place, Fang Su Jin decided not to be shy and started to tour the house.

By the end of her tour, Fang Su Jin found that this was a three-bedroom and two-bathroom apartment. However, only one room was used while the remaining two were left empty.
“Don’t you think that this place is too big for you to live alone?” Fang Su Jin spoke as she was inspecting the empty room.
“I planned to make this as an investment,” Zhang Yi Hai said. “After graduating, I’ll rent out this place before moving back to Y City.”

Fang Su Jin nodded. She headed back to the living room and stood in front of the sliding door. From where she stood, Fang Su Jin could see the beautiful scenery of the city.

“What do you want to eat?” Zhang Yi Hai asked. “Should I order takeaway now?”

After giving it a thought, Zhang Yi Hai placed his order.
When he was done, Zhang Yi Hai looked up again and found Fang Su Jin standing in front of his balcony with a pencil and a book in her hand. It seemed that she was scribbling something.
Zhang Yi Hai walked over and peeked at what she was doing. Then, he realized that Fang Su Jin was drawing the city scenery from his balcony.
He knew that Fang Su Jin often painted scenery with interesting colors.
“Are you going to paint that?”
Fang Su Jin had long noticed Zhang Yi Hai approaching while she was still working on her sketches. Therefore, she was not surprised when he spoke to her.
“Probably.” Fang Su Jin glanced at him and laughed. “I just thought that the view looks pretty. Whether I will put the sketch into painting will depend on my mood.”
Zhang Yi Hai stood quietly by her side as he watched her work.
He had seen her paintings many times, but this was the first time that Zhang Yi Hai saw her sketching. Zhang Yi Hai thought that Fang Su Jin’s sketching looked very good as well.
Zhang Yi Hai was fascinated with the way her hands moved on the paper. Suddenly, he wished that he could see Fang Su Jin working on her paintings.
The sound of the doorbell snapped him out of his trance. Zhang Yi Hai glanced at Fang Su Jin and spoke, “That should be the takeaway. I’ll go and get them first.”
Without waiting for her reply, Zhang Yi Hai turned around and walked over to the door. He looked at the security system and saw that there was a man in his delivery uniform standing in front of his door.
Zhang Yi Hai opened the door and took the takeaway food from him.
When he walked in again, Fang Su Jin was no longer standing in the living room to sketch. He swept his gaze around the room and found her in the kitchen.
“Are you done with your sketching?”
Fang Su Jin nodded. “Is there anything I can help you with?”
Zhang Yi Hai placed the takeaway bag on the counter. Then, he pointed at the cabinet. “You can take out a few cutleries from the cabinet.”
She turned around and picked up a few cutleries as he had instructed. Then, the two of them sat at the dining table to have an early dinner.
Fang Su Jin looked at the dishes that Zhang Yi Hai ordered and thought that they all suited her taste. She could not help but wonder if this was a coincidence or if Zhang Yi Hai always knew her preferences in food.
