CHAPTER 201
At that moment a shadow appeared by his window but he did not shake, instead, his lips curved upwards into a smile.
Jade appeared by the window and within the blink of an eye, she was already inside the room. Rather than being scared of the intruder, Xander smiled brightly as his heart and dragon leapt for joy as they once recognized who it was.
His smile soon changed to a sad one when he activated his special senses and noticed that she was properly ready and prepared to kill him.
"For you to get in so easily, I think I need to change my guards and get a better-trained set."
Xander paused and took in a deep breath before speaking again. "But then, seeing as you are who you are, the daughter of the deadly iceberg, I can expect nothing less. It is not my guards that are the problem but that you are just too good. Am I right or am I right?"
At this point, Xander turned around so he could face her and see her again only for him to see that she was already behind him, with a gun pointed at his chest.
"Is that any way to greet your beloved, Jade?" His voice came out in a soft harmless tone but he knew from deep within he was calling out the fires of hell with that.
"Mention my name one more time and I won't hesitate to kill you," Jade warned.
"Sigh. I thought I made quite a good impression on you. Look at how easily our love turned sour."
"Pff," she scoffed at him. "You are incapable of love." Her eyes burned with deep seething hatred as she said the last word out loud.

"Four!" Her brain was already in shambles within four seconds. She did not know what to do anymore. "Five!" He shut his eyes for a second and then reopened it and removed his hand from hers, taking the gun from her hand as well.
Without saying a word to her, he stepped back and turned away.
Jade blinked, her mind finally returning to her body. "Stop!" she brought out another gun quickly and aimed it at him. "Do not move." She cracked her gun, putting it on fire and steadied her hands and breath. "Turn around."
Xander shook his head, then did as she had asked, turning slowly to look at her but the moment he turned completely, he pointed her gun that he took right back at her.
He did not need to set it on fire since she did before. Al he needed was to pull the trigger and BAM!
Jade's eyes widened then returned to normal as a mischievous smirk appeared on her lips. "So, I was right. You are incapable of love."
"No, you weren't. I just need you to know that I can change the tides at any second if I wanted you dead."

"Oh, you think because of your heritage as the daughter of Frost, you can actually defeat me? Even if you were the strongest lady on earth, you still cannot. And speaking of which, that time I counted, those five seconds were all the time I could spare you to kill me."
