Alexis and I just laid on the grass together. Alexis was trying to gather her thoughts, while I just rested from the amount of energy Zorc needed just a few minutes ago. “Why do you know so much about Duel Spirits?” Alexis finally decided to ask her first question. “They tell me.” I shrugged to say it was that easy. “What!?” Alexis shot up off the ground to look at me. I shrugged again, and thought for a bit. “Anybody wanna take this one?” I said to my friends. Not long after Dark Witch started to appear beside me.

Alexis was shocked stiff at the sight of Dark Witch right in front of her. Dark Witch chuckled softly while floating around me, and began to lay next to me while grabbing onto my arm. Dark Witch then placed one of her hands and teasilly moved it around my chest. Alexis blushed and started stammering from what she was seeing all at once. I sighed while holding Dark Witch’s hand. “Maybe don’t scare her too fast?” I said to her a bit sarcastically as Dark Witch chuckled. “She is fun to tease…” She gave me an excuse and I rolled my eyes.

Dark Witch chuckled a bit more before feeling my face. “Ummm… What…?” Alexis wanted to understand all that was happening, but was still too shocked to really say anything at this moment. I scoffed a bit while letting her process this. “You think this was too much for her too fast?” I asked Dark Witch. She looked at Alexis for a second, and saw how Alexis’s gears were jammed. She stopped being able to process this, and needed a shock to the system. Dark Witch smiled as she thought of that shock.

I looked at Dark Witch’s expression, and how it turned into something teasing. She then looked down at me, and began to kiss me on my cheek, but angled her hair so that Alexis couldn’t tell where exactly Dark Witch kissed me. That seemed to wake Alexis up, as she blushed further and made a squeak of embarrassment. I scoffed at her as she stared at me in shock. “You…?” Was all she could say, as I began to chuckle at her. I shrugged as I held Dark Witch in a one arm hug.

“Ok… Let’s take this one step at a time… Duel Spirits exist… That’s step one.” I said in an overly simplistic tone, causing Alexis to smack me again with a frown trying to hide her blushing embarrassment. “Stop hitting me…” I said weakly.

Alexis frowned at me, and then sighed. “I know about Duel Spirits… There were stories that I heard about them. But they were just stories…” Alexis then looked at Dark Witch with a thoughtful expression. Dark Witch gave a sultry smile and held her hand out to Alexis. Alexis looked at the hand, and slowly grabbed onto it. Alexis was still in shock that she was touching a Duel Spirit. They were stories for kids, and she was touching one. I chuckled a bit, causing Alexis to look back over to me, wondering what I found funny. “You act like you’ve never held one before.” I said in a teasing tone.

Alexis thought what those words meant, and then had her memories flash back to that fateful night in the old abandoned dorm. She remembered the calming feeling that one card gave her, and how Rakki smiled and thanked the card. Everything was making sense in her mind. Alexis then grabbed the top card off of her deck and saw Hoshiningen looking back at her with a smile. “You… You gave me a Duel Spirit…?” She said with an unbelieving tone. I scoffed and shook my head. “Duel Spirits can’t be forced to work with someone. He asked to go with you.”

Alexis looked back at me for a moment to see if I was really telling the truth, and then looked back at the Hoshiningen card, and saw him wink at her. There was too much information happening at once, and Alexis was having trouble keeping up. She felt her head spinning, while trying to understand everything that she had seen Rakki do as hints of this. Her mind then came to one more question. “Then your luck? Are they helping you?” I thought for a bit and sighed. “I don’t know… I think so… There are a few that don’t talk much, or at all.”

I shrugged from how I still didn’t completely know what my luck was. It was good as I could get, but also as bad as I could get it. There was no in-between. Alexis nodded and wanted to know more, but she felt like she would get a migraine if she tried. She shook her head, and stood up. “Just one more question…” She said as Dark Witch was helping me up. “Why were you really at the dorm?” Alexis finally said after wrestling with wanting to know the answer. I sighed and gave a small smile to help comfort her. “I felt like you might be in danger.” I shrugged with how simple the answer was, and Alexis squinted at me. She then looked at her Hoshiningen card and began to nod slowly.

Dark Witch, after helping me up, wrapped my arm around her shoulders to help support myself. “Thank you.” I said to her as she smiled at me. “Of course… However I can’t bring you all the way back without being seen…” Dark Witch then began to look at Alexis, who was brought out of her stupor. “Of course! I said I would help!” Alexis then quickly caught up to both Dark Witch and I. We walked in mostly silence, with a few questions about Duel Spirits from Alexis. She was inquisitive, but also needed time between each bit of information to really process it.

Once we were mostly out of the woods, Dark Witch stopped. “Can you take him now?” She said with a smile. Alexis nodded and began to grab my arm to wrap it over her shoulder instead. “Good… I’m glad we could talk, face to face.” Dark Witch said with mirth in her voice before disappearing. Now it was just Alexis and I together. I sighed as we walked out of the woods, and made our way over to the Slifer dorms. There was nobody around, most likely everyone was still in classes.

Alexis was silent, while her mind was wizzing. I chuckled a little bit at her, causing her attention to be brought back to me. I gave her a small grin and gave her some advice. “Just don’t think about it too hard, is my advice. They are amazing beings, and I think of them as my close friends.” Alexis stared at me for a bit in silence. “Even with the relationship you have with Dark Witch?” I shrugged at her. “All of the girls that want to get that close to me… I don’t see a reason why not if they don’t have a problem with it.” Alexis furrowed her brows at me. “All?” She asked. I scoffed at her.

I shrugged my shoulders to display that it didn’t really matter to me. 'Those girls are a part of my kingdom.' I then shook my head and sighed. ‘You really are affecting me huh?’ I said to Zorc. He let out a deep chuckle of amusement before talking. “Kid… I was a King most of my life… It is in my soul to rule… And now it is in yours…” I scoffed, and focused back on Alexis. She was still waiting for a response to explain myself more beyond that shrug.

I noticed we made it most of the way to Slifer dorms, and didn’t have much more time to talk. I sighed and wondered how best to phrase how close I was to the girl Duel Spirits. “The female Duel Spirits that have connected to me are very close.” I gave a smirk while thinking of all of their beauty. “And Spirits are more, how should I say this…” I looked up to think better. “Loose… in terms of relationships.” Alexis gave me a look of disbelief of what I was telling her. I scoffed and shrugged my shoulders again. “Believe me, I thought it was kinda nuts too… But hey… If they are ok with it, then so am I.”

Alexis paused while walking. Her face was scarlet while thinking of what I was saying. I chuckled at her, causing her to blush even harder. “You… With them…?” Was all she could say in a small tone. I smirked at her and shook my head. “No, not yet…” Alexis was conflicted at hearing that. On one hand Rakki hadn’t done it with these spirits, but on the other he was planning on it. With those thoughts in her mind she subconsciously let me go and I fell to the ground. “Didn’t think you would be the violent type about this…” I said sarcastically as I rubbed the arm I fell on.

Alexis realized what she did, and quickly started to help me back up. “Sorry!” She said as she frowned with her red face. I chuckled at her. “Don’t worry about it. I know that this is a bit shocking.” I chuckled some more, as Alexis helped me up my stairs. We finally made it to my door, and I unlocked it before opening it. I leaned against the wall to help me walk inside, I then placed the extra Duel spirits from my jacket onto my desk, and watched as they all came flying about. Alexis, who took a step in my room to make sure I got to my bed was startled by how she could see these spirits. I didn’t really understand either, but it seemed that they didn’t mind being seen by Alexis while inside my room.

“You guys enjoy our little excursion?” I asked as I placed my Duel disk on my desk as well. I saw all of the small Duel Spirits give me their happiness for the adventure as some of the Duel Spirits from my deck began to float around my room as well. I then was helped to my bed by the appearing Dreamsprite. I chuckled a little from how small she was. “I’m not too big for you?” I said while trying to support myself to not crush her under my weight. She giggled a bit and looked back up to me. “You’re never too big for me…” She said teasilly. I scoffed at her, and realized I walked into that one.

Alexis just kept staring off at all of the duel spirits that were floating around my room. She was shocked that Rakki had this many Duel Spirits, but then she remembered all of the low level cards Rakki kept in his pocket for some reason when he had given her Hoshiningen. More was clicking in her mind as she thought where Rakki had gotten those cards. That well must have been full of cards that he wanted to save. Alexis was then brought back from some of the smaller Duel Spirits floating around her.

She then saw me slinking into my bed with Dreamsprite attaching herself to me under the covers. Alexis turned away, trying not to see more than she should, but then I spoke up to her. “Make sure to lock the door on your way out. I’ll see you at class tomorrow.” She was shocked how little I seemed to care that she was in my room while this close to a nude spirit. I chuckled seeing her expression filled with embarrassment. “I’m not gonna do anything. I’m still resting from that Duel I just had.” Dreamsprite then looked at me with a solemn expression. “You’re not…?” I scoffed at her as I pet some of her orange hair.

Alexis’s face became brighter as she left the room with haste. “I’ll see you in class!!” She yelled while running away from the insanity of myself. I chuckled some more as my pal Kuriboh closed and locked the door for me. “Thanks pal.” He chirped happily as I fell asleep with Dreamsprite attached to my arm.
