I saw 2 cups of aces, and Restructer Revolution for spells, Fire Darts for a trap, and Gambler of Legend as my monster. I sighed at the sight of my cards. ‘What is this…? My name is Lucky Once, and I have a gambling deck… Why not have Pot of Greed!? It’s not banned here!’ I yelled at anything and everything in my mind, as the redhead chuckled as she was reading my expressions. “This’ll be easier than I thought.” She said with amusement in her voice.

I sighed, and decided to at least play this all the way through. ‘This was why I stopped playing… My luck was terrible, and I could never get what I needed.’ “I activate my spell Cup of Ace!” I put the spell inside the activated Duel Disk as the blue sphere began to shine a calming color of blue. A goblet appeared in thin air not long after. “This allows me to flip a coin. Heads, I draw two cards… Tails, you draw two cards!” As I finished explaining the spell, the goblet tipped over, and a giant coin fell out.
I held my breath, but the coin landed on Tails. I let out a sigh as I placed the spell in the graveyard, and Jasmine was laughing at me. “Thanks for the cards idiot!” I gritted my teeth, and decided to play my other card. “I activate, Cup of Ace!” I put the card inside the Duel Disk again, and watched another giant goblet appear out of thin air. Jasmine was chuckling at what I was doing. The goblet fell again, and another coin spilled out; landing on Tails again.
Jasmine laughed even harder while clutching her stomach. “No wonder you belong in the Slifer dorm! You help lose by yourself! I wonder if I do nothing, you will lose just from your own cards!” I started to snarl at her as I looked at my remaining cards. I then looked at her hand and began to smile. “I guess bad luck is a kind of luck too.” This caused Jasmine to look confused as my smile widened.
I held up my hand and yelled with a large grin. “I activate the spell… Restructer Revolution!” Then a giant card appeared in front of me, and started to rumble. “It allows me to deal 200 damage to your life points for each card you have in your hand!” Just as I finished explaining the card, a bunch of warriors riding horses burst out from the card and stampeded Jasmine. “Augh..!” She yelled in aggravation as her life points lowered.

“I’m also gonna throw down a monster, and a spell. Your turn!” I smiled with how I had managed to pull that much damage on my first turn. ‘I’m starting to remember how much fun this game could be…’ Jasmine scowled at me. “I draw!” She then looked at the plethora of cards she had amassed courtesy of me. “I’ll show you that it was a mistake to give me all of these cards! I play the spell card… Reinforcement of the Army! This allows me to look through my deck, and add one level 4 or lower warrior monster to my hand!”
After Jasmine was done sifting through her deck, she found the card she was looking for, and mixed the deck back up. “I now summon Marauding Captain!”

“And because of his effect, I can summon another warrior type monster to the field. As long as it is level 4 or below! And I choose… Unfriendly Amazon!” Jasmine slapped her other card down and a swords woman was standing on her platform menacingly.

Also I’m playing the equipment card Legendary sword on Marauding Captain to increase both his attack and defense points by 300!”

“And now I’m going to destroy you! Marauding Captain attacks your face down monster!” Just as she yelled that the warrior came to life, and slashed through my Gambler of legend in one swing. He was sent to the graveyard, but Jasmine wasn’t done. “Now! Unfriendly Amazon! Attack him directly!” I looked over to see the swordswoman charging at me. She slashed through me too, and I could feel shivers and pain at where she struck. “Ahhh!!” I yelped from the pain as Jasmine was ending her turn. “I’m also going to place one card face down! Your turn Slifer!”

Jasmine finished her little turn with a snide comment. I grunted and looked at my deck, all hope lost. ‘What card could I pull that could turn this duel around?’ I put my hand on the top of my deck, praying for something good. “I Draw!!” I yelled as I pulled the card out. I looked at it, and gained a smile almost as large as the Pot of Greed I just pulled. “I activate the spell, Pot of Greed! Allowing me to draw two more cards!” I put my hand on my deck, but this time I felt something. I felt something strange on my hand.
I looked at my hand with confusion of what it was, but saw nothing. I then decided to draw out the card and saw a Time Wizard looking back at me. I stared at him for a second, before drawing my next card. Looking at it gave me an idea that I had a feeling would work. “I feel like my luck is about to change…” I smiled and began my turn. I throw down a spell, and summon Time Wizard in attack mode!”
Time Wizard/Spellcaster/Effect/Level 2/ Atk:500 Def:400 Time Wizard
“I activate Time Wizards effect! Time Wizard uses magic that alters the time of the field! If he can do it right, then all of your monsters get sent to the graveyard! If he does it wrong… All of my monsters get sent to the graveyard and I take half of their attack points as damage!” As soon as I finished explaining my card, I saw Time Wizard start to wind up, and let the hands over the clock spin around. They kept spinning for a bit, until they slowed and stopped over the winning portion. “All Right!!” I threw a fist in the air with celebration.
“Alright Time Wizard! Time Magic!” I yelled as the enemies were turning to dust. Jasmine was perturbed, but still seemed to be winning. “You may have destroyed my monsters, but as soon as your turn is over, I’ll just summon a monster to destroy you!” Jasmine smiled as she saw herself winning by next turn. I laughed at her, causing her to scowl at me. “There won’t be another turn for you! I activate the quick play spell… Mystical Space Typhoon! Allowing me to target a spell or trap on the field and destroy it!” I pointed to her set card, and saw it to be the Seven Tools of the Bandit.
I smirked at her as her card was being destroyed. “Now there is nothing to stop me from playing this! I activate my trap! Fire Darts! This allows me to roll a die 3 times, and each number I roll gets multiplied by 100, then dealt to you as damage!” Jasmine looked at me incredulously. “There is no way that can kill me!” I laughed at her a bit. “Sorry… but I’m feel’n lucky!” Just as I said that, all of the dice rolled from the trap card and rolled on the ground. Every one of them landed on 6. My smile grew as I looked at her face, which was full of shock. Just then, three darts covered in fire launched their way towards Jasmine. “Ahh!!”

Jasmine was still standing on her feet, while giving me the harshest death glare. “It’s over… Time Wizard! Attack her directly!” I pointed to her, and watched as the little clock man ran over and smacked her with his staff. Dealing the last bit of damage left to end this duel.
