Chapter 71: Moving into a new home.

Lord Dragon sat on a couch as he listened to Mad Steel report with an ugly face and cracking fist.
“Didn’t I tell you to not provoke Ye Xuan?!”
Mad Steel trembled and bowed when he heard Lord Dragon’s worlds and felt the anger inside him.
On the other side, Qing Yu gave Mad Steel a glance before defending him, “Boss, we can’t all blame it on Mad Steel for this. After all, he wasn’t here when Ye Xuan came, but didn’t he already apologize when he recognized him?”
“But it also gives us an opportunity to make up for our affront against Ye Xuan last time!”
“What do you mean?”
Lord Dragon asked as he glanced at Qing Yu.
“Didn’t Mad Steel say that Ye Xuan wanted him to find a villa near the river? We can gift him one!”
Qing Yu explained with a smirk before he continued,
“It seems to me that Ye Xuan is a righteous man and that he only came to our headquarter because we hurt the security guard and not because our men provoked him. I sent people to investigate him and found out that later he went to invite his security guard friends to a big meal! He probably would never accept it if we gifted him a villa but we can secretly transfer it to him. At least he will remember this gift, right?”
“It is worth to gift that guy a villa just to get into his good favor?”
Kuang Ba couldn’t help but chip in when he heard Qing Yu.
“Boss, what do you think?”
Qing Yu smiled and asked Lord Dragon while completely ignoring Kuang Ba.
“Just do as Qing Yu said! I’ve just finished renovating my Starlight villa near the riverside. Qing Yu you can find a way to transfer it to him! Then you and Mad Steel can take Ye Xuan to have a look!”
Lord Dragon commanded after he thought about it.
“Yes sir!”

The Starlight villa was located in the center of Xing Hai near the river and a popular waterpark. It was a beautiful home and also very easy to get into public transport.
It was around 3pm when Mad Steel took Ye Xuan, Su Xiaomeng and Leng Qingcheng to visit the villa.
“How it is, Xuan Bro? Do you like the place?”
Mad Steel cautiously asked Ye Xuan.
“Not bad.”
Ye Xuan nodded in satisfaction.
While Su Xiaomeng and Leng Qingcheng stood near him and didn’t say anything.
“As long you’re satisfied. The villa originally belonged to Lord Dragon, he renovated it and was about to move in but when he heard you were looking for one so he gifted it to you!”
Mad Steel explained hurriedly and respectfully.
He was more aware of the importance Ye Xuan held for Lord Dragon after his visit at the headquarter.
“How much it is? I’ll pay you.”
Ye Xuan asked as a hint of surprise washed over his eyes.
“Lord Dragon said that you don’t need to pay him for this, he’s gifting it to you. He had already transferred the deed to your name. This is the certificate!”
Mad Steel then took out the certificate and handed it to Ye Xuan politely.
Ye Xuan felt a bit bewildered as he looked at the proprietary certificate. He asked Mad Steel to look for a villa for him, not to gift him one. He wanted to use their connection to find a suitable place and use his own money to buy it since it would be much harder if he looked by himself.
But he didn’t expect Lord Dragon to already transfer the villa to his name. This came off as a surprise for Ye Xuan.
He pondered about it for a bit but in the end chose to accept it.
“Okay, go back and thank him for me”
“Xuan bro, no problem. I’ll definitely convey your thanks to Lord Dragon when I go back!”
Mad Steel quickly said as a wave of release and joy washed over him.
“Also when does Xuan Bro plan to move? We can help you!”
“Right now.”
Ye Xuan declared after two girls and him looked at each other.
“Alright! Then let’s do it. I will arrange people to help you.”

“Phew! We’re finally done!”
Su Xiaomeng exclaimed tiredly as she plopped onto the sofa after moving all her stuff.
Leng Qingcheng was wiped the sweat on her forehead with a towel on the other side of the couch.
Mad Steel and his men helped them move out but there were things that needed her to do and it was very tiring for her.
For Ye Xuan however, he was extremely relaxed as he sat on the couch sipping wine.
“Take a bath first! Then we can leave!”
Leng Qingcheng proposed after a small rest as she looked at the tired Su Xiaomeng along with the relaxed Ye Xuan.
She mentioned to Ye Xuan last night that she wanted to meet a friend who had found some information about her parents’ death and she wanted him to meet her.

Leng Qingcheng also stood up and walked to her bedroom.
The three bedrooms were next to each other, which made it convenient.
Soon, the three of them wash up and step out of their bedrooms.
Su Xiaomeng made her hair into a pony as she wore a pink t-shirt with denim shorts and a pair of white sneakers. She was particularly adorable, especially her slim figure and tall peaks on chest that accentuated the cuteness of the fish doll illustration on her shirt.
Leng Qingcheng let down hair long black hair as she wore a white semi casual shirt with a pencil pants and a tiny belt to separate the two clothes. She showed perfectly her simple and elegant beauty.
Ye Xuan smiled in appreciation when he the two women come out as he asked, “Where are we going?”
“Dream World.”
Leng Qingcheng replied softly.
“Alright, let’s go.”
Ye Xuan nodded.
Dream World was once Xing Hai’s most famous entertainment themed recreation park and it filled with people during the holidays but after a series of murder a year ago where twelve people died, it declined from his glory days and very few people came here anymore.
The place looked desolate when Ye Xuan and two girls came with their cars. There were only a few people and most shop was closed.
Su Xiaomeng shivered as the cold wind passed by.
“Sister Qingcheng, why did you arrange a meeting here? It’s so creepy! I wouldn’t have come if I knew!”
Su Xiaomeng complained.
“I haven’t met him before. It was a friend who introduced him to me via internet.”
Leng Qingcheng replied calmly as she looked around before setting her gaze on a café.
“Let’s go there.”
She took the lead and took them toward an eerie café that seemed to be out of business.
Ye Xuan and Su Xiaomeng followed closely behind.
The café seemed to be in ruin and was totally obscure as there were no waiters all except a man in a black trench coat sitting in a corner near the window and someone in his fifties who seemed to be the owned and was dozing off on the counter while giving a gloomy feeling.
“Welcome!”
The middle aged man greeted when he saw the three people coming into the shop.
Leng Qingcheng nodded at him and her gaze went over to the man in a black trench coat before she led her two companions over there.
The man in the black trench coat looked to be in his thirties with sharp eyes and solemn features. He radiated a serious aura around him and looked like a private detective.
The man didn’t wait for Leng Qingcheng to speak as he spoke up first, “Miss Leng, you’re finally here! I’m Du Leng, these two are?”
“These two are my good friend, Ye Xuan and Su Xiaomeng!”
Leng Qingcheng answered.
She didn’t notice a light passed over Du Leng’s eyes when she said Ye Xuan’s name.
“Haha, Mister Ye, Miss Su, nice to meet you. Let me introduce myself, I’m the private detective, Du Leng!”
Du Leng introduced himself with a smile and extended his hand to Ye Xuan and Su Xiaomeng.
Su Xiaomeng was about to reach out to shook his hand but was stopped by Ye Xuan as he greeted back,
“Ye Xuan!”
“Would the three of you like a drink?”
The owner came over and asked as he handed a list of drinks after they all took their seats.
“A cup of mocha, a plate of tiramisu, a cup of cappuccino.”
Ye Xuan, Su Xiaomeng and Leng Qingcheng all ordered their order.
“Alright, please wait a moment!”
The owner turned around and left. It didn’t take long for him to come back with the orders.
“Don’t drink, there’s poison!”
Ye Xuan secretly warned them just before Su Xiaomeng and Leng Qingcheng were about to take their drink. This stopped their movement for a bit but they soon recovered and acted normally.
Leng Qingcheng took a breather before setting her gaze on Du Leng and asked, “Mister Du, how is the investigation on my parents doing?”
“I’ve already made a major discovery! These are the information I prepared for you, Miss Leng!”
Du Leng took out envelope containing files from his briefcase beside him and hand it to Leng Qingcheng but Ye Xuan took it before she could.

Ye Xuan didn’t even take a look inside before he lit it aflame and threw it away.
The envelope burned with a green flame.
“Ye Xuan, what did you do!? Are you mad!?”
Leng Qingcheng couldn’t but scream in rage when she saw that.
But Ye Xuan didn’t pay attention to her as he stared at Du Leng and said in a cold tone.
“There’s poison in the envelope! Am I right, mister Du?”
