.

Lena was walking home tiredly, she couldn't wait to lay down on her bed and sleep like a log for the whole day. Looking at the Slipstream she saw that it was empty, meaning she ran out of energy, one of the factors why she felt so physically exhausted, the other factor is that removing the adrenaline and thinking logically, she just survived a villains assault and almost died in the process, also when Lena asked Kyoka what happened, why is there a part of her memory blurred, Kyoka just avoided the topic leaving Lena suspicious but from the grimace Kyoka grimaced she knew it wasn't anything good.

"*Haa*" Letting out a big sigh thinking about everything that happened in a single day, she hopes this is the last time something like this happens while she is still a student....

Finally seeing her house she headed to the door with a smile thinking about how comfortable her bed will be.

Entering the house with relief only to be greeted by her father looking at her with the most serious eyes she has seen in a long time, the last time she saw such serious eyes was when her father was working on upgrading the Slipstream so she could get out of the capsule.

"So, you're going to sit at the kitchen table and explain to me everything that happened today, got it?" my father said with deadly serious eyes that seemed to look into my soul.

Looking away from my father I quickly nodded, he moved first heading to the kitchen and sitting down at the table. I quickly followed him and sat on the opposite side of the table from him.

"..."

"..."

We just stared at each other, well more like he stared at me and I was trying not to scream in fear.

"A few hours ago I received an alarm from my computer about an overload on the Slipstream..." My father began to explain earnestly. "It said that the limit set had been exceeded and that the user, you, had entered the limits of reality and time, do you know what that means?"

Looking at my father's face I could tell he was annoyed, no, he was furious, I remember the day after I was able to speak normally again, my father had given me an extensive lecture on how I should never push my Quirk to the limit for anything in the world.

"Errm, that I use too many Accelerations?" asked Lena hesitantly.

"No, it means that instead of using the Acceleration for a short period of time as you normally do, you used it with most of your Entropic Energy, which not only allowed you to travel through time, but also through reality itself by momentarily going to other universes or dimensions. Basically reaching Eternal Chaos" Explained Winston as he crossed his arms.

"Eternal Chaos?" asked Lena tilting her head.

"It's what I call it, it's a place where everything stops making sense, time, gravity, dimensions, energy, matter, it works in such a strange way separate from all the Laws known to man that it's simply indecipherable, as you know Entropy the older it gets the weirder and stranger it gets, well, Eternal Chaos is the result of that" Explained Winston looking rubbing his temples. "And you missy, you used all your energy to momentarily get to that place."

"..." I was silent thinking about what my father had said and could only be shocked due to the fact that maybe that was the reason she doesn't remember anything, she had arrived at a place that escapes compression itself. "But... what's wrong with that, I'm fine, aren't I?"

"Lena..." Winston breathed before letting out a sigh. "It means that to get to that place you used all your energy, now tell me, once you went... how did you get back, what energy did you use?"

"That..." That was something I hadn't thought of, if I used all my energy on an outward journey, what brought me back?.

"You didn't come back" Winston replied as he sighed and looked at his daughter again.

"...what?" he asked with confusion.

"You didn't come back, look at it this way, the your of the present went to Eternal Chaos but didn't make it back due to running out of enough energy. Now, the Slipstream is made to anchor you to the present but only to a certain point, if it travels beyond its maximum capacity to keep you in the present it will be useless, but, your present self did something...unexpected, it sent what was left of Entropic Energy to its past self using the Slipstream anchor, creating a timeline where the original Lena was trapped in Eternal Chaos and another where it managed to get out with the help of the original Lena's energy...so which one do you think you are?"

"..."

WHAT A PIECE OF FICTION THIS EXPLANATION IS.... Lena thought as she tried to process all the information Winston threw at her head, Lena was smart yes, but not on the level of a world renowned former genius scientist. "And-and how do you know that?"

"Not to brag Lena, but I'm currently the person who knows the most about Entropy in the whole world, although it was hard to decipher everything that had happened, with the data the computer gave me it wasn't that hard to understand and decipher" Winston said rolling his eyes at Lena.

"But how to figure out to you that an alternate line was created?" asked Lena curiously, she can't think of any way that could happen.

"Because your Slipstream received an energy probe from somewhere, I ordered the computer to analyze the new incoming energy and discovered that it pod from the future at the same time from the past, analyzing the energy sent it wasn't very difficult to discover its origin due to how unstable it was, so I was able to put together a pretty consistent theory with all the evidence and data I had on hand" Explained

Winston with a slight smile and air of smugness, to which Lena only laughed lightly at the change in her father's attitude.

Winston noting that he had broken character, coughed quickly to forget that.

"*Ahem* As I was saying an alternate timeline was created where you made it back safe and sound...this timeline" Winston said returning to his seriousness and clenching his fists under the table. "Look, I'm glad you're safe and sound, you don't know how relieved I was when I found out you made it back... but on the other hand I'm incredibly upset with you, not only did you break the oath you swore to me that day, but you also almost died honey."

"I-I'm sorry..." Lena whispered, she was now not only physically exhausted but mentally and logically shattered, what a perfect combo...she would need to sleep for many hours to regain her spirits.

"Don't be sorry, I know something serious had to have happened, I know you are very careful with your Quirk and everything around it... I don't want forgiveness, I want you to promise me never to do this again, both for my sake, and for yours" Winston said sighing and looking at Lena with a worried look. This only made Lena feel a little guilty, she doesn't remember why she activated her Quirk to that level, but she thinks she made the right choice....

Lena knew that sooner or later she would worry her father, after all being a Hero puts your life at risk at every moment, but that doesn't stop your loved ones from caring deeply about you....

Rising from her seat and approaching Winston, Lena gave him a tight hug.

Lena could feel her vision becoming a little blurry, but she held back her tears for later

"I promise" Lena vowed with determination.

Lena felt Winston's arms return her hug and stroked her hair gently.

"By the way you're grounded"

"What?!"

...

A/N: I clarify that I have no idea how space-time works or if it is directly or indirectly related to Entropy, as I said this topic is too complicated for my head so I veil it as a science fiction talk attached as much as possible to the reality with my little knowledge :p
