I said as I collapsed on the couch, even though my dad said he was going to punish me he only banned me from working out or going online, which honestly isn't much of a punishment considering almost everything was about heroes. Don't get me wrong I like heroes but seeing them every three seconds is boring.
Movies, series, shows, cartoons, interview, everything revolved around Heroes, being honest I think they ran out of creativity, although I understand why they do this, the hero market moves a lot of people, not including them in anything is just stupidly losing audience....
"*Haa*" I said as I buried my face with a couch cushion, at least tomorrow we would go back to school and be able to get out of this boredom....
"Hey sweetie... what's up?" Winston asked walking into the living room, and just raised an eyebrow as he saw Lena's state.
"I'm bored..." I said with my face still buried in the cushion.
"Why don't you read any books?" Winston asked as he looked at Lena with his eyes rolling, though it's not like Lena could see it....
"Because I've finished reading all the ones I have, and I don't feel like spending hours looking for another one that catches my attention..." I replied pulling the cushion away from my face to see my father giving me the "Really daughter?" look, yes that look.
"You know, you could go for a walk around a mall or something to distract yourself" Winston replied giving Lena an option to get out of her boredom.
"While that's true, most likely a villain will show up and ruin things so no thanks" I said as I lay back down on the couch.
What to do, what to do... I thought as I kept my legs moving, exercise is a no no, reading is a no, television is a no... ugh how awful.....
*TIRRRRRRR* The doorbell rang.
"I'll get it" Winston said as he walked towards the door to open it. I on the other hand put the cushion back on my face, for some reason I found it very comfortable.
Suddenly I heard footsteps and how they stopped at the door to the living room, after that the footsteps approached my position and took the cushion off my face.
"Hey-" I said as I looked at the one causing the theft of my precious cushion.....
"Why did you have a cushion on your face Lena?" Kyoka asked as she gave me a strange look, she was dressed in short shorts, a white shirt and a black jacket, my brain shut down for a moment before turning back on.
"Oh, hi Kyo what's up?" she said as matter-of-factly as I could muster in my voice so as not to sound surprised, I wasn't expecting Kyoka to visit me on the last day of this mini vacation.
"I'm here too you know..." Said an annoying voice, looking in her direction I could see a black skirt and a yellow colored shirt with a drawing of a white cat flying in the air. If I could see her I would surely be pouting.
"Ah sorry Toru, I didn't see you there, and then what are you doing here?" I asked curiously, I hadn't been warned that you were coming to my house.
"Well we sent you several messages to your phone but you didn't answer, so we came straight over" Toru explained as he sat down next to me on the couch "We wanted to know if you wanted to go out to the mall for a walk and maybe buy some things"
"Oh" I said a little puzzled, literally less than two minutes ago I said I didn't want to go out, but well it seems fate has other plans. "Sure give me a minute to change clothes."
"Before you go Lena, you owe us both an explanation" Kyoka said intervening in the conversation and my course of action.
"???" I tilted my head to the side in confusion.
"You told me you would help me know my Secondary Quirks to find out if I could manipulate light" Toru said excited as it was a new experience for her.
"And to me you told me that you would explain to me what exactly your Quirk is" Kyoka said with her arms crossed and looking me straight in the eyes.
"Right... I had forgotten, Teehe" I said with fake innocence as I stuck out my tongue. "Let me change my clothes first... well Toru, you'd better ask my father about your Quirk he knows more about it than me" I explained as I stood up and stretched a little.
After that I quickly went to my room to change, I was wearing simple clothes, light blue jeans with a white shirt and over it a short cream colored raincoat.
After that I took Toru to my father (who was in the kitchen) to teach her everything I knew about light manipulation and Secondary Quirks.
Returning to the couch with Kyoka I plopped down next to her with a sigh. "So what do you want to know?"
"I want to know what your Quirk is, Momo has been theorizing that it's some kind of Super Speed for days but even when I recorded you with a hidden camera and slowing the video down to stupid levels she couldn't see your movement" Explained Kyoka as she turned her head and looked straight at me with a perfect poker face. "Then there's what happened at USJ-, no, better forget that" Kyoka said shaking her head as she remembered something, I wanted to ask her what but she seemed to refuse to say anything about whatever was bothering her.
I was a little surprised that Momo tried to record me to find out what my Quirk was, but I didn't take much notice, I knew how curious Momo was about almost everything.
"Well, not to make a very scientific or long explanation I'll just give you a summary, my Quirk is called Entropy, it allows me to manipulate Entropic Energy to a certain extent. If you don't know what Entropy is it's basically time, well that's not an exact explanation of what Entropy is but it's the simplest" I explained as I put my hands on my cheeks thinking of a better way to explain my Quirk.
"You-What?!" Kyoka exclaimed in shock and disbelief at the revelation breaking her poker face. "You can manipulate time?!"
"Not exactly, I can stop or alter time until I run out of Entropic Energy stored in my body, that's one of the reasons I eat so much, my body in exchange for food generates Entropic Energy and..."
After that followed a long series of questions and answers from Kyoka and me, it was fun to see Kyoka's different reactions. After about 20 minutes Toru came back with us and seemed to be happy, apparently she could understand the basics about the light and already has several ideas in mind on how to handle it, but she would prefer the help of a professional on the subject before experimenting herself.
"Then let's go!" Toru exclaimed happily as she left my house, it seemed her mood was through the roof after discovering the potential of her Quirk.
It took us a while to get to the mall due to my house being a bit far away but we made it without too many hiccups. Toru quickly suggested going shopping for clothes and trying on different outfits, to which we had no problems.
After that we saw a music store with different instruments that caught Kyoka's attention, apparently she is good at all the instruments but she is not an expert in any of them. I found out that her favorite instrument is the bass, which suits her like a glove.
After a few hours of walking and shopping we headed to the food court, to eat, duh. We order two large pizzas, although Kyoka and Toru can't eat all the pizzas, I on the other hand am almost a bottomless hole so no problem.
"So Toru if you don't mind me asking, where were you during the USJ incident?" asked Kyoka curious about how she had coped with USJ, Kyoka must say if she could give advice to her past self she would tell her not to go along with Lena towards the Central Zone and join Momo in helping the students....
"I don't care, I was with Todoroki, it was a sight to see him defeat all the villains with a single movement of his hands, he was also able to collect some information from his opponents to know what the villains' targets were, it was amazing!!!" Explained Toru as he seemed to make different signs with her hands, although it's not like we could see them....
"Well that was to be expected, Todoroki is very strong almost anywhere due to the versatility of his Quirk... although I guess he counts as two Quirks, don't you think?" I said as I chuckled, someone with more than one Quirk would be terrifying, and Todoroki even though he doesn't have more than one Quirk, he's still terrifying with the handling of his two elements. "Although you should have seen Kyo's power at its peak, Momo with my help created a guitar that unleashed Kyo's power to the max, I finished off all the villains in less than the blink of an eye."
"Really?! What did you do Kyoka?!" Toru asked almost jumping out of her seat getting a little too close to Kyoka's face for her liking.
"W-Well it wasn't that impressive..." Kyoka said modestly though a bit embarrassed.
"Nonsense, you took down all the villains in a jiffy... while my idea of Momo creating that Ear Destroyer Guitar, you were the one who I can bring out its full potential" I said as I slipped an arm around her shoulders and pulled her a little closer to me.
"T-Thank you" Kyoka said avoiding my gaze for some reason, which made me pull out a smug smile.
Toru just watched her friends' exchange with a big smile on her invisible face.
After that we headed back to my place to hang out before it got late. After an hour we each went home with the promise to hang out again someday, I also reminded Kyoka that we will continue with the training.
Well going to the mall wasn't as boring as I thought it would be... I thought to myself as I laid down on my bed, I guess this day was the perfect rest after all the crazy things that happened in such a short time.
Not long after thinking about everything that happened over the past few days, I fell into the realm of dreams....

"So you want me to come to I-Island in 3 days, right?" I asked to confirm what my good friend had told me.
"Yes, we will meet , Your, Me and Angela, to start with the ARCANGEL project, I also want you to help me with that" Said the voice on the other side of the phone confining my doubts.
"It's a bit sudden don't you think?" I said bitterly, I didn't expect this to start so soon.....
"Yes it is but we can't delay any longer. Besides don't worry about Lena, you can come back to see her performance at the UA Sports Festival, I'm sure she'll go far" Said the voice trying to dispel my doubts.
"*Haa* Well I trust you buddy, although I don't like leaving Lena alone at all" I replied reluctantly.
Even more so when I haven't managed to put a cap on the Slipstream... I thought bitterly.
"She's a big girl Winston, trust her more" The voice on the other end of the phone said calmly.
"Well..." I said with a sigh....
And with that the line between two renowned scientists was cut, unaware that two more people were listening intently to their conversation....
