"What a terrible thing! I never thought there were people living lives like that!" Elke commented in shock, her body still on top of his. "How could she have done that to her husband? For that matter, how dare she abandon her children?"

His eyes sharpened, and he commented in a cold tone. "Anyway, there are people who don't deserve to be rescued. Some people need to be abandoned and forgotten."
