Yes, we had come to the dungeon to work out. 9 months had passed since the Crown of Clay incident. In response to my declaration to become stronger, once every two weeks I decided to enter the dungeon with Yamiyo and the others. For some reason, Tamamo wanted to get stronger, so she joined and trained with us.
So there was one problem. We’re training. Besides diving in the dungeon, we’re also training. It doesn’t make much sense to me. No, it makes some sense, but it’s more about defeating monsters in the dungeon, which is the shortest route to becoming stronger.
But that’s just me. That’s the story only for me in the game specifications. Others train, sweat, and accumulate experience to become skilled and strong.
In my case, I become strong by defeating monsters, accumulating experience, and proficiency. Strangely enough, a slight difference in the Japanese language can make a big difference in how I become strong. Japanese is a difficult language.
So for everyone else, the dungeon is like a book game to test the results of their practice, nothing more. For that reason, I had to sweat, toil and practice in the dungeon. Yamiyo and others protected me for my recovery magic.
It was a troubling situation. The dungeon was my training ground, but they wouldn’t let me fight properly.
When an NPC damages an enemy. Even if they defeat it, their experience is drastically reduced. You could say it’s a common thing in games.
It’s been 9 months since the Teijo family took care of me. My level did not go up at all. I’m playing golf with twice as many guards as before because I’m a precious recovery magician. I can’t say I’m fighting at all.
Yamiyo and the others comforted me, but the situation remained the same.
And they are two people who have become stronger through training.

My father suddenly became a viscount 6 months ago. To protect me, that’s for sure. I can’t see the front of my eyes because I’m in tears of love for my family. But for that reason, when I turned 10, I had to make my debut at a party held at the imperial castle. What a hassle.
I like to dress up as the pretty Miu, but I don’t intend to show my (Miu)’s appearance to others.
And I’m not strong enough. Not enough at all. If only I had a little more power.

“It’s Poison Toad!”
A one-meter frog slithers out of the swamp. Its skin is covered in blotches and is purple. This dungeon is a troublesome place. Our enemies have a low attack power, but they attack with poison. However, the poison is nullified by the poison-protection warding beads provided by the Aburages.
That frog also spits poison, which is nasty, but on the contrary, its attack power is low, so it does not scare me anymore.
“I’ll take them down. You guys stay back!”
Give me decent amount of experience!
After Oryaing, I raise my mace to Poison Toad and charge at it. Using my magic armor power, I close the gap between us at about the maximum speed of a moped bike.
Knowing Poison Toad’s power, Yamiyo and the others look at me warmly without interfering.
“Taaah!”
Poison Toad spits poison water like a squirt gun, but the anti-poison ward is activated, the magic light shield repels the poison water, and I crush the frog. Poison-proof warding is very useful.
The moment I beat it, a fanfare rings out.
[Defeated Poison Toad! Acquired 130 experience. Leveled up! Thief II’s proficiency has increased! Sub Job unlocked]
“Finally. It’s been a long time.”
I grin and give a small smile. I’ve been waiting for this. I’ve been thinking of a way to break the ice since my experience is so low.

And this [Hide] can also make me hide from all magic sensing and mechanical surveillance. Game specs are so scary. Yeah.
I’ve also unlocked [Sub Job]. I’ll start leveling up tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday night.
I need to find a dungeon. This job should allow me to level up in no time.
…… And there’s another one I unlock at level 15. A strong ally for working people. A reassuring force for old man like me.
