I expected her to look away when I clearly caught her staring at me, but no, she was still looking at me over her shoulder like I was the greatest criminal of the century.
Since I knew its futile to keep on continuing this game, I just ignored her presence and looked forward to the class.
For the following three periods, she was glaring at me from time to time. The weird girl was talking with Ryuuta once in a while on her own initiative, but when she turned toward me, her temperament changed significantly.
To be honest, I was getting annoyed now when she was seeing me like that. It was bothering me now. Fortunately, the bell rang, signifying that I was free to go, so I did.
Packing my bag, I got up from my seat and, unlike usual, didn't wait for Ryuuta before I exited the classroom and found the whole hallway still empty.
Taking the advantage, I went downstairs, and after bidding farewell to the senseis who came across, I walked toward the shoe lockers.
Exchanging my uwabaki with my outdoor shoes, I became a little calm as my feet also slowed down before I heard someone approaching me from the back.
It didn't take me long to sense who it was, so I didn't turn and spoke in perplexion as the person finally halted beside me.
"Why you rushed? We don't go home together anyways."
Unlike in the past, when Ryuuta and I spent most of the time after school in arcades or playgrounds, now nothing sort of those fun things happens since Ryuuta became busy after entering high school.
"Still, we walk to the gate together, so I thought...well, are you troubled by the new girl?"
Ryuuta knows my mood swings; I guess, better than anyone, so he must have seen my irritated expression when I left.
"Yeah, kinda. But it's alright now."
As I said, we finally reached up to the main gate of the school before I saw groups of students leaving the building.
A sigh left Ryuuta's lips which I explicitly knew what was about. Understanding the problems he has, I offered him with the best solution.
"Why don't we start when you get free from your umm...work tonight? Since it's a holiday tomorrow, we can play as much as we want. What about it?"

"Thank you, brother. I will definitely join you before midnight, so please wait for me."
Sensing the three pairs of eyes mixed from the crowd, I felt it was high time to end this conversation, so with a wave, I concluded my parting lines.
"I will be waiting. Don't dare to be late, or I will curse you to death. "
Waving my hand, I saw Ryuuta shaking his head in defeat as he also waved to me before I walked away from the vicinity.

"Contact the intelligence and ask them to keep a close eye on the girl who has just transferred to our school."
The three in front became perplexed before something popped up in their mind that Aoi voiced out instead of the other two.
"Ryuuta..is she...?"

"Yes, she is an inhuman and strangely interested in Kei. I don't know what she is, but if she tries to approach him with evil intent, I will make sure to transfer her to a faraway place of no return."
