Qiao Yi was relatively well-behaved over the next few days perhaps because of Qiao Yue’s warning.
Qiao Yue’s injuries were almost healed. Although she cared more about fulfilling her filial duties to her grandfather than her studies, Old Master Qiao had specially called her over and told her to study hard. She couldn’t break her grandfather’s heart.
The night before she went back to school, Qiao Yu came to Qiao Yue’s room.
He also brought with him a large stack of new notes and practice questions.
Qiao Yue looked at the notes and practice questions, which had all been neatly annotated by Qiao Yu using different colored pens.
He also took out plastic sheets of different colors. “This is a learning method I heard from someone. Use different colored sheets to cover the answers.”
He flipped open to a practice question where he had written his explanation in red. He covered his annotations with a red plastic sheet, leaving only the question visible. “Practice once without looking at the explanation and then read the explanation. It’s much more convenient this way and you can practice as many times as needed.”
“Did fourth brother worked hard like this to become a top student?” Qiao Yue said as she flipped through the book.
“That’s not necessary. I’m usually able to get everything right on my first try but based on fifth brother’s current academic performance, I think such learning method is necessary.”
The corners of Qiao Yue’s mouth twitched. She had indeed succeeded in her role as a terrible student.
“After all, I don’t want you to lose your bet with Sun Bin.”
At the mention of Sun Bin, Qiao Yue suddenly remembered her bet with Sun Bin using their year-end results.
It was almost November now, and the mid-term exams were just around the corner. The final exams were only two months away.
