Chapter 437: Extracting the black particles

Not only were the body parts of Ian’s Drakonit not black, but they were also twice the size of a normal Drakonit, it was completely surreal.
Liam and Ian’s mark of the Union turned golden meaning that the energy sharing was activated and Ian then said to Miguel who hadn’t been able to hide his astonishment : “Miguel, I’m going to introduce the first golden particles into Atlas’ body, then try to keep the lures in place by bringing in a constant stream of golden particles to keep the black particles busy while I take care of Jordan.”
Miguel knelt down next to Atlas’ body opposite where Jordan and Ian were and he waited to see what Ian had planned to do.
Ian, who had access to the golden particles through the energy sharing with Liam, couldn’t use much of it, but it was enough for what he intended to do.
He began to introduce them in 6 different places in Atlas’ body, far from his vital points to keep as many black particles as possible away from them, and as Miguel had warned him, just creating lures was extremely difficult because the golden particles didn’t even have time to regroup that they were already being devoured.
Ian frowned when he saw this but he didn’t have time to worry because Miguel immediately lent him a hand and between the two of them they were able to create 6 tiny golden balls inside Atlas’ body that were enough to attract the attention of the black particles and make them all converge on these 6 points.

Miguel then said to him : “That’s fine, I can take care of them now and it was a great idea, not only do the black particles not try to devour his body anymore but they all gather around those golden balls, which will make it easier for you to extract them from his body.”

Jordan then spoke for the first time since Ian and Liam joined them : “Miguel is right, now that they have all converged on these balls it will be easier to extract them, use the black crystals to absorb them, if you need more, Miguel will be able to get you some.”
Ian picked up the large black crystal that was right next to Jordan and indeed, this crystal was half full of black particles and they didn’t seem to be able to escape from it.
He then said to Jordan : “Okay, don’t worry and let me handle this. I will help you removing these black particles and then just get some rest, I may need you again later.”
Jordan nodded and he moved a little away from Atlas’ body with Ian’s help.
He could no longer absorb the black particles that had managed to penetrate his hands and forearms and he was out of strength.
When he had seen Isaac moving out of the corner of his eye, he had wanted to tell him not to come closer, but Elias was quicker than him and he held him back, telling him to be patient.
Ian, after pulling him away from Atlas’ body, used his spiritual energy to place the black crystal just above his arms, and he immediately began extracting the black particles from his body.
Jordan immediately felt the difference as Ian started to extract the black particles and send them into the crystal, and he couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief as the pain was really starting to get unbearable.
At the same time, he was also relieved to have Ian there to help him deal with the situation and so he followed his advice and allowed himself to finally relax a little bit.
He immediately felt a wave of fatigue wash over him and he let go and closed his eyes, suddenly too exhausted to fight against it.

It took Ian 10 minutes to decontaminate Jordan’s body, and when Ian said to Elias that he was done, Elias immediately let go of Isaac who immediately joined Jordan who were unconscious on the floor.
He took him in his arms gently and after opening his mouth, he forced a divine grade healing potion down his throat.
As Jordan had just passed out, the divine grade healing potion took effect immediately and after just a few seconds he blinked before finally waking up with a start.
Isaac was prepared for the worst but luckily Jordan’s eyes were still their usual color which meant that Lena really did have the power to counter the negative effects of the black particles.
He then reassured him explaining what had just happened and Jordan hearing his voice and explanations came to his senses, and after checking his body to make sure there were no more black particles, he thanked Ian saying that he had done an excellent job.
Before Ian began to extract the black particles from Atlas’ body, he observed the two black crystals and one of them was almost full, so he sent some black particles from the other crystal into it and once it was full he handed it to Elias who immediately put it away and took out another half full one.
Ian nodded contentedly and then said to Miguel : “I’m going to start extracting the black particles, try to keep the lures in place as long as possible.”
Miguel smirked then and he said to him : “Don’t worry about that, I’ll have no problem holding them in place, but I can’t do anything to help you extract those black particles so it’s up to you.”
Ian nodded and still using spiritual energy he held the black crystal over Atlas’ body and so he set about extracting the black particles.
Lena, just like Jordan, was resting under the watchful eye of Caleb and Kelan and she still felt too weak to return to help these men who were doing everything, even putting their lives at risk to save Atlas.
When she saw Jordan collapsing, she tried to get up to help them, but Kelan had stopped her and told her : “Don’t move, you need to rest too, and Ian is a pure demon, so the particles of light that constantly stay around you are harmful to him, you can’t help him like you helped Jordan.”
