Chapter 478: Not a serious enough threat

The only difference was that on his black fur ran golden tattoos like on his skin when he was in his human form.
And unlike the Alpha’s and even the Supreme Alpha whose eyes were entirely silver when they used their power, Axel’s were entirely golden.
The deadly aura he was giving off at that moment made all the Werewolves in the arena and in the stands tremble with fear, and even the Alphas who had regained consciousness after their fight against him had to admit that they would have absolutely no chance of beating him if he had taken his wolf form from the start.
For them, there was no doubt about it now, the grandson of the Supreme Alpha was even more powerful than his grandfather, this family was really terrifying.
In the arena, the Werewolves trapped with Axel the wolf, could not shapeshift into their wolf form because the effect of the black pills only boosted their human side and if they used their wolf to fight they would lose the only advantage they still had.
And even if their leader was dead, as long as they still had black pills to boost their strength they had a chance of getting out of this predicament alive.
They had been stripped of their weapons but there were many ways to kill a wolf, no matter how huge and powerful he was, and they had the advantage of numbers with them.
They could simply break his neck or spread his jaws until they broke and killed him… Or they could simply rip out his heart or destroy his energy supply.
Werewolves were the best hunters among the legendary creatures, and so they could all clearly see the golden energy reserve under the skin of this divine wolf.
And even though their weapons had been taken away, some of them still had ordinary daggers on them.
All these Werewolves knew each other well and as they were all part of the same pack, a special link to communicate united them.

And so he told them using their private link so that they could all hear him at the same time, ‘You fools, do you really think that these black pills will be enough to fight me, or that I will even let you get close to me… I don’t even need to use my powers to fight you, my speed alone will be enough to kill you all.’
By power he meant golden particles, but these Werewolves were not a serious enough threat for him to resort to that kind of extremity, and there was a good chance that if he used laser beams made of golden particles to get rid of them, they would get through the shield and kill innocent Werewolves.
Even though his father and Colin had strengthened the shield, a golden particle laser beam attack still had a chance of getting through their defense, so he would not take that risk.
When he saw that 4 Werewolves had decided to attack him he disappeared from their field of vision and even their hyper-developed tracker senses could not follow his trail.
He reappeared almost instantly in a corner of the arena where the one who seemed to be giving the orders was slightly apart with 3 other Werewolves and with one strike of his paw he decapitated 2 Werewolves including their new presumed leader.
He gave two more paw strikes to finish off those Werewolves that had been stunned by his appearance and he immediately disappeared from their sight again only to reappear in another place.
He continued to appear and disappear and he continued to strike them with his paws and tear their heads off with his fangs.
The effect of the black pills on these Werewolves was not enough to make a difference against him because their basic Stats were too insignificant and so this butchery lasted only a few minutes and the twenty or so traitors were all executed by Axel the wolf.
When he was done, Colin appeared next to him and now that he had become a Priest his control over the golden particles had improved a lot and so he said to Axel the wolf patting him : “Let me take care of the clean up, you fought well… Son.”
It was the first time Colin dared to call him son so Axel the wolf reduced his height to his height and he rubbed his head affectionately against his.
Colin smiled shyly at him and he raised his hand, the arena was then covered with a golden veil and when this golden veil came into contact with the lifeless bodies and heads of those Werewolves, they all suddenly ignited and the golden flames disintegrated them.
Colin then said to him : “Go change in your dimension… I think you were right, that other Alpha will never dare to face you after that, we will remove our protections with your father and you and Kevin will choose what you want to do next.”
Axel thanked him through the communication stones and he went straight into his dimension.
