Chapter 230: Appraiser Mission

After that, he went to the central part of the city to the Appraiser Tower to complete his mission given by Sect Tower.
He entered the Appraiser tower, and went to Yue reception desk. A girl was standing there, when saw Jian she greeted.
"Greetings, what can I do for you?"
"I have taken the mission from the Sect tower about the Appraiser."
As Jian explained her he handed her his sect token and one star Alchemy Token. She took the token and verified them.
"Yes, you have accepted the mission, to complete the mission you have to help Appraiser Tower indentify ten things but let me remind you that if even one items description is wrong you will have to face the penalty and you will lose the qualification of Appraiser."
Jian nodded, he has already read the instructions when he chose the mission but he had not expected that they would be this strict.
Seeing that Jian was nodding the girl handed back his tokens to him and told him to wear his one star Appraiser Token.
After she led him to the second floor after that she led to him to the end of the hall way were two large doors stood and an elder was sitting near the doors.
The girl greeted the elder and informed him that Jian is here for the mission. The elder acknowledged and told Jian to come forward.
The girl has left Jian and the elder alone. The elder looked at Jian and spoke, "You should already know that your mission is indentify ten items.So Befor going inside you have to submit your storage ring."
Jian had already expected this but it didn't matter to him because he had the system's inventory. Jian didn't say anything and handed the hid storage ring.
The elder took the ring and gave him slip and told Jian to give it to the elder when he goes inside.
Jian nodded and took the slip and he entered the room. As he entered the he was shocked to see the heaps of items in every corner of the room.
There were more than 100 people inside the room and each one was taking the items from the heap and were Appraising them.
Jian immediately understood that they were also here for the same missions. Each person was given a desk to Appraise the items.
Jian was that many desks were filled with item's and some Appraisers were getting excited while some were returning the items to the heap.
Jian understood that some were able to Appraise the items and some couldn't, that's way they were returning the items to the heap.
While Jian was checking out the room, an elder of Appraiser Tower as walked towards him. Jian immediately greeted and handed him the slip.
"You can take an empty desk and start Appraising. You are only allowed to leave this hall when you have successfully Appraised 10 items.
You should be confident when you have appraised 10 items otherwise you know the punishment.
When you have finished Appraising inform me till then best of luck."
Jian nodded and the elder left Jian alone. Jian looked around and and found a empty desk and walked towards it.
As he was walking, he had activated Star Gaze and was able to see the information about the items and in only few seconds he was able to identify ten items.
But he did that then he would attract attention so he decided that he will select the ten items he would submit and after the he would spend his searching for any interesting items.
So he moved around heaps of items and select ten easy items which can be Appraised easily. After selecting them he started to bring the items back to the desk and started faking the Appraising of the items.
Jian would continue the process and after looking through multiple items he would get excited. It showed that he had successfully Appraised an item.
Jian did the same process for me than five hours finally he had Appraised ten items. But he has gone through many items but he couldn't find anything.
Jian the walked towards each heap of items and he would use Star Gaze to find. But he couldn't see anything interesting. There were some items but they were damaged beyond recognition.
Jian moved around the room for an hour and he was able to see that other Appraiser were not happy with him since he was disturbing them.
Seeing this he decided that he now submit the mission since there is no item which can interest him. Jian took ten items and walked towards the elder.
The elder saw ten items in Jian's hand he was shocked. He had not expected that Jian would complete the mission this early.
"Are you confident that the items you have Appraised are right."
Jian nodded, seeing this the elder sighed and shook his head. He thought that Jian was just rushing to complete the mission. He thought that Jian had not guessed some items right.
He thought Jian was not focusing on the path of Appraiser and he was just focus on just completing the mission.
Jian saw the elder shake his head and he knew what elder was thinking, Jian had guessed that the elder was thinking that he has not identified the items correctly.
Jian had already seen the same reaction from many other from the towers so it didn't affect him much.
He kept quite and followed the elder. As the came out of the room, the person sitting outside also had same reaction seeing that it was Jian who is submitting the appraisal of the items.
He also had the same reaction as the elder, Jian saw this and said nothing and followed the elder.
The elder led him to another room.
"Give me your token, when you enter the room you will see the formation. You have to submit each items one by one and write the identity of the items.
If you have Written it correctly then the item will disappear otherwise you know what will happen. Now go inside."
Jian nodded and went inside with his items. As he had expected he room was covered with the formation.
There were two spaces on the formation on the left side Jian had to put the item and on the right side he had to right the information of the item.
As Jian was checking the formation lit up Jian knew that he had start the process so he didn't waste time and he submitted his first item.
Which was Peak Mortal Grade cultivation technique. The technique was incomplete and was evil in nature. The technique was created by an inexperienced Cultivation Master.
