Chapter 50: Back To The Pavilion

Jian had started to refine the ore. Since there were two different ores Jian had to refine them one by one. Jian took the first Ore which was similar to Ore required for the sword.
It took twenty minutes to refine the ore. After that Jian added second Ore. Jian had combine both Ore so he didn't took take first. When Jian had started to refine second Ore. He felt that it required more heat as compared to the first Ore. While refining it also took more time to clear the impurities.
Jian took forty minutes to refine Ore and merge it with other Ore. Now Jian had one and half hours to form the mold and cast it onto the spear handle.
Jian now activated Star Gaze and started to form the mold. It took nearly twenty minutes but when mold was completed Jian saw that it was a little weak. It would not withstand the purified ores.
Jian then started to strengthen the mold. by providing extra Qi to the mold. It took extra twenty minutes. Now Jian only had fifty minutes. So he started to connect the mold with purified Ore. Jian's luck was good so he was able to connect it easily.
Now the main process was to cast it on the spear handle. Jian had not done it before so Jian had to do it carefully. Jian took the spear handle. It was five feet in size one and a half inches thick. Jian then started to cast the mold on the handle.
The casting is only required to shape the mold suitable for the handle. But if the shape was wrong then the handle will not fit and the spearhead will be destroyed.
Jian started to shape and cast the mold on according to the handle. Jian was doing it very slowly it Neary took thirty minutes and while doing it Jian had continuously activated Star Gaze so his Qi was continuously depleting.

After ten minutes it had reached its highest temperature required for quenching. Jian then moved towards the desk where quenching liquid was kept. When Jian saw the quenching liquid it was red and when smelled it then Jian knew that the whole liquid was made with the blood of the beasts.
Jian took the liquid and dumped the weapon in it to cool it down. As Jian placed the weapon the whole liquid started to boil and the weapon started to get cold. Jian didn't have much time so he started to use his Qi to drown the weapon in the liquid. When Five minutes were remaining Jian had completed the quenching process and the spear is formed.
Jian didn't check it with the Star Gaze and the system. Jian took the sword and the spear and placed them on the center of the formation. As Jian placed the whole room lit up and Jian then moved aside and started to replenish his Qi.
Jian now just had to wait. If he gets a one-star token then he passed the exam. And if not then Jian will have failed the exam. Jian waited to side for the result.
Jian had confidence in him but still when he thought about the spear he couldn't help but get nervous about it.
