Chapter 70 - Ugh. What could I do? She’s so cute. I can’t bring myself to say no. (3)

“Okay, I am taking off then.”

“Oh.” After a few seconds, Su Han finally forced out a “Be safe.”

“Okay, I will. Oh, right!”

“What did you forget?”

“No. I bought a gift pack of [academic] practice exercises for you online. That’s the one that I have you brought upstairs yesterday. Don’t forget to work on them.”

“20, no, 30 pages. Work on all the subjects. I will check on them when I come home!”

Su Ran had no idea whether the gift pack was as amazing as the other parents said but mainly she didn’t want Su Han to go work at a construction site again over the weekend when she wasn’t home.

“It’s okay if you can’t finish, just do as much as you can. Give it your best,” added Su Ran as she wondered whether 30 pages was too much.

Su Han: He felt that she had doubts in his ability. Just 30 pages? He could finish up an entire subject in 20 minutes.

Su Ran took a car ride to Dongshan Mansion after she finished assigning him homework.

“Instructor Su, you are here. Would you like a glass of water?” Su Ran had just arrived at the Song’s when Wu-ma welcomed her passionately. “Or would you like to have a cup of tea or juice? I can go get them for you.”

“No.” Su Ran was just about to say that would not be necessary and that she was just here to give them a refund and would be leaving shortly when she was interrupted by the chirpy noises of someone coming down the stairs.

“Is Instructor Su here?” Came a crisp and melodious voice that sounded like wind chime. Su Ran looked in the direction of the voice and saw a girl coming down the stairs and was walking toward her.

The girl had on a girly white dress. She had long, black hair and her face under her bangs was so delicate that she looked like she had just walked a painting.

“Hi, Instructor Su. I am Song ZhiNing. My brother had told me that he had mentioned me to you last time.”

I know you are Song ZhiNing! The girl and Song YiAn looked so much alike that it didn’t take much to figure out that she was his twin sister.

Speaking of, perhaps the “pure like green tea” look of the original female lead didn’t flare too much when it came to genetics, both Song YiAn and Song ZhiNing looked more like the male lead.

Su Ran studied the girl in front of her and quietly lamented that it was no wonder the big villain would fall so head over heels over the male lead’s daughter in the extras.

The girl was pretty like a porcelain doll. When she smiled, she looked like an angel, soft and cute, even as an old aunty like herself found her irresistible.

Truth was, her Su Han had very good taste when it came to women.

Unfortunately, Su Han could not fall for this little angel; otherwise, he would be met with a very tragic fate.

Su Ran looked at Song ZhiNing and felt very regretful.

By now, Song YiAn had also come downstairs and walked over to Su Ran.

“Instructor Su, you are here finally. If you didn’t come now, ZhiNing was about to say that I had lied to her.”

“Instructor Su, don’t listen to my brother making stuff up. I did not say such a thing,” said Song ZhiNing, blushing a little.

“But, I am so glad you are here now, Instructor Su,” said Song ZhiNing as she looked back over at Su Ran with sparkling eyes.

She had already given up on all of the piano instructors in the past, but this time was different. If her brother’s opinion on her was “extremely good”, she must be very amazing.

She had been looking forward to meeting Su Ran since she heard her brother talk about her last Sunday.

“Instructor Su, let’s go upstairs quickly. I have so many questions to ask.” Song ZhiNing held Su Ran’s hand. Her eyes were beaming.

Ugh. What could I do? She’s so cute. I can’t bring myself to say no.
