Xu Jia seemed to be able to see a grey soul floating out of Yang Han’s mouth. She quickly shook her and said, “What’s wrong with you?”

Yang Han fell on Xu Jia’s shoulder.

Xu Jia said, “Eldest princess, you have to be okay. If anything happened to you, who would help me sign attendance?”

Yang Han continued to lean on her.

Xu Jia’s mind lit up with a bright idea, as if she understood something and laughed out loud, “Ohh! Is it because of the essay question! Haha, let me tell you, I stifled my laughter while answering it that the invigilator came over and knocked on my table.”

Yang Han looked up and asked, “What did you write as the title?”

“’Live up to your life purpose, don’t let your youth pass in regret’!” Xu Jia said, “Isn’t it very easy?? What did you write?”

Yang Han frowned, “I forgot.”

Xu Jia: “?”

Yang Han recalled painfully and said, “I left an hour for the essay and almost couldn’t finish it.”

Xu Jia patted her shoulder and said comfortingly, “This might be what the legends talked about: the ignorant ones are fearless, the one who know loses their hair instead!”

Yang Han: “…Was there such a saying?”

While the two of them were still talking, Shang Xue suddenly ran over to Yang Han’s examination room, stirring up a group of people’s attentions. He quickly calmed down his excitement, pulled over a seat in front of Yang Han and sat down.

Yang Han: “?”

She said, “Calm down.”

Shang Xue rubbed his hands together and said, “Yang Han, do you know what I wrote about uncle this time?” He said longingly, “If it gets published, I’ll surely become popular.”

Yang Han was puzzled, “What did you write.”

Shang Xue rolled up his sleeves and bragged, “I wrote from multiple dimensions, discussing unity and division, peace and war, the average and extremes…”

Xu Jia: “???”

Yang Han: “???”

Weren’t they in the same examination?

Xu Jia asked, “What was your essay title?”

Shang Xue said solemnly, “On the pros and cons of technology domination’ – or in other words, a review of Ji Xun’s president, Han Shi Yu.”

The two of them: “……”

This person only saw ‘Han Shi Yu’ in the question and every other material stated in the question were all eaten by him.

Han Shi Yu moved their location to a single room on the second floor to avoid any unwanted attention.

He took off all his armour as Lu You Qi stared at him from the side and spat, “Are you entering the entertainment industry or what?”

Han Shi Yu glanced at him and said, “Can you find anyone more famous than me in the entertainment industry now?”

Lu You Qi shrugged, “Oh, I guess there’s none.”

His own scandal was popular enough on its own. If his popularity also included Ji Xun, Qu Di, Xun Di and Hai Ting’s popular news, then Han Shi Yu would truly be the top star of the second half of this year.

Yang Mo continued to peel his shrimp and said, “Don’t you have a meeting.”

Han Shi Yu sat down, chugged a mouthful of beer to quench his thirst and said, “Aren’t I here to look for you first thing after the meeting…”

“I went to the police station to look for you but you were already done. Fortunately, I didn’t go in directly, but strolled around outside and managed to spot you guys.”

Yang Mo finished peeling a shrimp, just as he was about to dip it in the sauce, Han Shi Yu sat next to him and said pitifully, “You blocked me on WeChat till now so I couldn’t receive any of your messages. Yet, you’re actually eating with this person here…I…”

Yang Mo raised his head and looked at him expressionlessly, “What’s wrong with that?”

Han Shi Yu immediately turned the conversation around, “…Nothing wrong about that.”

Lu You Qi: “……”

Han Shi Yu was just about to sit down again.

Yang Mo suddenly said, “Go and sit down opposite of me. You’re blocking me from reaching the dishes.”

Han Shi Yu obediently got up and moved to sit next to Lu You Qi.

Lu You Qi looked at him.

Even after so many years, this person’s wimpy behaviour had not changed at all.

Lu You Qi, who had just found out about their relationship, pursed his lips together for a bit. He lived abroad for so many years so of course he could accept it, but he merely didn’t expect the partner to be Han Shi Yu.

He was just about to open his mouth to tease, only to see Han Shi Yu who was sitting next to him, rolled up his sleeves and put on gloves to grab a crab. Han Shi Yu saw the shrimp that Yang Mo just finished peeling, opened his mouth with an ‘ah’.

Lu You Qi snickered, picked up the bottle and shook it while saying, “Are you disabled—”

Before he finished his sentence, he saw the helpless expression on Yang Mo’s face as he unwillingly passed the shrimp across the table into Han Shi Yu’s mouth before peeling another one for himself.

Lu You Qi: “……”

He swallowed the rest of his words.

The world was still suffering from double standards, it seemed.

Han Shi Yu wasn’t aware of that as he turned his head to him and asked, “What did you want to say just now?”

Lu You Qi felt provoked by his way of talking while chewing, but the ignorant ones were not guilty or to be blamed, so he held it in and said, “Just treat it as nothing more than a fart I let out.”

Han Shi Yu: “?”

He heard something like a soft chuckle coming from Yang Mo who had his head lowered.

It was the end of their monthly examination. Yang Han thought she did pretty well. Her essay didn’t turn out as badly as she expected, scoring 45 marks.

Xu Jia scored 2 marks higher than her. Although she knew it was because Yang Han did not perform as well as usual and not because she had written well, but to score higher than the one who always had the second highest score in class all year made her quite happy anyway.

Shang Xue lived up to their expectations and scored 28. His essay was used anonymously as a counter-example. Printed copies of his essay were made along with other model essays and sent to all classes in their grade.

The language teacher dragged him off for another educational talk after seeing how happy he was about that.

After evaluating the test papers, she went home for the weekend.

Yang Han took out all the model essays and unfolded them in front of Yang Mo.

She pointed at the essay question and complained, “Dad, you really can’t blame me for not doing well for language. I can’t get past my conscience.”

Yang Mo sat on the couch and picked up one of the model essay examples to read, “……”

Yang Han shook her head, pulled that one out and shoved a different one into his hands. She said, “This is the model essay instead.”

Han Shi Yu came down from upstairs right at this time. He looked at the table filled with papers and said, “You guys ordered the newspaper?”

Yang Mo glanced at him before slowly looking down again at the copy of the essay Yang Han handed him.

‘On the pros and cons of technology domination’ – a brief review of Ji Xun’s president, Han Shi Yu.

Yang Mo: “???”
