Chapter 741: Crushing Defeat

Scarlet ran away from the scene, reaching the pocket dimensions walls and suddenly being stopped by the realization she was being somehow trapped by a mysterious power.
"Agh! Let me go!" She cried desperately, hitting the invisible walls. But Gwendolyn found her, slowly walking towards her with an expressionless face while holding into her blazing sword.
"Eeek! L-Let me go! Please, I was only doing this because I was forced to!" Cried Scarlet. "I-I have a family! I have a husband and two babies! I am doing this because they said they would kill them!"
"…" Gwendolyn stopped walking, looking at her for a slight second.
"I-It is the truth!" Cried Scarlet. "(Of course I am lying… No way in hell I would have stupid children in my entire life! And I am working with these guys because they pay me better than anybody while I can slaughter anybody I want… B-But I am already left completely hopeless! This woman… is she a mother?! It seems it worked! Will she spare me?!)" Thought Scarlet, as her lips began to tremble.
Gwendolyn walked towards her and smiled gently. Scarlet suddenly felt relieved.
"Liar."
"Eh?"
Gwendolyn's face darkened, as she swung her blade once horizontally.
Scarlet's vision suddenly moved into the middle of the air, as she realized her head was chopped off, and was falling into the ground.
"Y-You… bitch…" She thought, as her consciousness faded away.
Gwendolyn looked at her rolling head, as she burnt her body and head using her flames until they all turned into ashes in just mere seconds. Her mercilessness had grown quite a lot, although she was always quite the war veteran, and had learned to be merciless against the enemy.
There were many times when an enemy would ask for forgiveness when left without any hope, often emotionally manipulating others by saying they had families waiting for them back home.
Of course, sometimes these stories were true. However, Gwendolyn was tricked many times by this, stabbed in the back, kicked, or even attacked with magic by those she spared… she grew to simply kill any enemy that threatened her life or those she cared for… Scarlet attempted to kill her and everyone else here some seconds ago, that was already something that gave her enough reasons to Gwendolyn to slay her for good.
Meanwhile, Axitl was fighting against Shiso and his monster, the evolution of the Death Wraith, the Phantasmal Death Wraith Emperor! How would Axitl be able to defeat a powerful being that cannot actually die as it reforms each time it dies and even then, it can curse with powerful curses that cause all sorts of ill effects to anybody?!
Well, by being immune to curses as a Goddess of Chaos and by devouring the entire being (including its soul) with her slimy body.
"GRYYA! My Death Wraith Emperor!!!!" Cried Shiso. "Let him goooooo!" The kid began to cry as he tried to attack Axitl with his dark magic. Axitl had started the fight by spreading her body into a mantle of black goo and devouring the entire creature in a second, and now she was just digesting the hard bones and eating the soul.
"You're a child and yet you tried to kill a little girl! Seriously, if you weren't just a little kid, I would have killed you! You should try to be a better person!" Said Axitl. "Were you brainwashed? Did these people manipulated you?" Asked Axitl, as if reprimanding the boy.
However, the boy angrily roared back at her.
"I am not a kid! I am over 30 and I just look like a child due to a curse!" Cried Shiso. "Give me back my Wraith! I made him with the souls and corpses of all the village I killed! Those bastards always were mocking me for looking like a child! This monster is my most beloved due to that!!!"
"Eh…?"
Axitl was left speechless. Appearances do betray sometimes. It seemed that she really didn't had any other reason not to kill him…
"Alright then, if you excuse me…" Sighed Axitl, extending a tentacle and wrapping it around Shiso.
"GYAAAH! S-STOP!" Cried Shiso.
Shiso struggled to free himself, but he was quickly throw inside of Axitl's body, being dissolved in a matter of seconds unlike his monster, which took more seconds…
"Phew, well, that's that."
Fracture looked at the horrendous scenes, his two allies, Shiso and Scarlet were slaughtered in a matter of seconds, their powerful monsters meant nothing against the might of these people whose strength was comparable to monsters themselves. It was right, his master was right, these monsters came from another world where people can attain monstrous strength!
"Y-You're all the real monsters here…! W-What have I done?! I can't… win here!" He thought, as his monstrous snake suddenly dropped dead in the floor. It lasted so long because it had amazing regeneration abilities, but Frank managed to splatter its entire head over the floor like a watermelon falling off a cliff… the scene was impacting, and Fracture was constantly growing more horrified…
"G-Get away from me!!!" He cried, as he unleashed more and more smaller and weaker beasts which Frank threw away, not even killing them but sparing them, as he walked towards the bald man.
"You're the one behind those bandits ruling over the city, aren't you? Just by reading your thoughts I guessed it all… But that man… No matter how hard I try, I was unable to read his thoughts." Sighed Frank.
"T-That man?!" Asked Fracture. "Don't tell me you've met the Emperor already?!"
"I have… he defeated me, but it was just a clone. We are about to go for round 2, so you better die before I waste any more time with you." Said Frank rather ruthlessly, raising his foot and crushing the head of Fracture over the floor, splattering it just as the same way he did it with the snake. He set everything ablaze after that, as everything was cleansed by the fire and turned into ashes…
"Now… what do we do with their souls?"
