"Impossible!!!" Lox cried out after snapping himself out of his shock. As a Level 54 Draconic Lightning Mage, his magic shouldn't be extinguished this easily. And yet, to his disbelief, the girl in front of him had extinguished the spell with ease.

Not only that, her spell had even made fun of him by burping!?

Gritting his teeth, Lox could feel his anger increase with each passing second.

"Shorty, your magic is pretty good. It was a good snack for my phoenix." Yin giggled as she couldn't help but feel a sadistic joy emerge from her heart.

'Ah, I've taught her well.' Shiro smiled faintly and nodded her head like a proud parent.

Lisandra only ignored this and kept her eyes on Lox. Despite the fact that Yin was seemingly relaxed and even joked around, she could tell that she was on her guard.

All that she was trying to do right now was force Lox to do his best against her. That way, she'll be able to see how potent her magic is against a fully angered C class adventurer.

"You dare mock me!?" Lox seethed with anger and lightning raged around him.

*TCHI!!!!

Striking against the ground, countless cracks and burn marks were formed in a circle around Lox.

Raising his hand in front of him, he grabbed the air and summoned a lightning spear.

Lightning flickered around the spear and slowly wrapped around his body as if it was alive. Soon, a layer of armour could be seen covering Lox.

Naturally, Yin activated her True Elemental Armour to counter this.

*BANG!!!!

Stomping against the ground, Lox launched his body towards Yin.

"Did I strike a nerve?" Yin asked as joy could be heard from her voice.

Swiping her hand upwards, several fire tendrils attempted to wrap around Lox.

"Hmph!" Scoffing in disdain, a pulse of lightning erupted from him and erased the fire tendrils.

Twisting his body, he stabbed his spear towards Yin. While he tried to mask his killing intent, Shiro could easily feel his hatred towards Yin and she was ready to make a move at any moment.

'Hmph, you dare try to kill my daughter in front of me, some nerve.' Shiro thought coldly.

However, Yin had it covered.

Jumping back slightly, two tier 3 magic circles stacked on top of one another and gave the illusion that it was a tier 6 spell.

"Double Cast – Dark Star Ember." Yin commanded as it was a type of spell that would be empowered once she called out the spell name.

*BOOM!!!

Radiating a fearful amount of mana, the magic circle started to greedily absorb the ambient mana. But that wasn't the limit. It had even reached out to Lox and started to absorb some of his mana that was used in his skill.

'What!?' He cried out inside his mind as this kind of phenomenon would only happen if the spell was more powerful than what he casted.

Quickly sweeping his spear towards the magic circle, he wanted to disrupt the spell so that it wouldn't activate properly.

"It won't work ah." Yin chuckled.

Dark Star Ember was a skill that would create an extra volatile spark of Dark Star Element. Regardless of what it touches, it would spontaneously combust and make itself bigger. The worst part was that it would feed off of the enemy's mana as well.

However, she had to be careful with this skill since the moment it grows too big for her to control, it would attempt to consume the caster.

But after her training with Shiro, she had enough control over her magic to be confident in controlling the size of the spell. Even if Lox managed to resist the spell enough to the point where it would threaten her control over it, she could just cancel the spell. In the first place, this was a one point spar so she didn't need to damage him several times.

Just once was enough.

Flickering into life, a spark of Dark Star Element latched itself to the top of the spear and exploded into a giant ball of fire.

"What the hell is this?!" Lox cried out as he watched his lightning get consumed by the Dark Star element.

Quickly throwing the spear away, Lox attempted to retreat since he knew that there was a big chance of losing this spar should he continue to attack.

However, Yin had anticipated this already.

Taking a page from Shiro's book, she snapped her fingers as the second spark of Dark Star Ember appeared behind Lox. She had hidden the spark within the rift the moment the spell had activated. That was due to the fact that he had a disposable spear on hand.

If both sparks hit the spear, it would just be wasted effort.

"Arg!!!!" Crying out in pain, Lox quickly removed his jacket and threw it to one side. Unfortunately, the fire jumped onto his shirt and continued to burn.

"Stop! Inya wins." Kier called out. Flexing his fingers slightly, a magic circle appeared around the dark star element and tried to extinguish it.

To his surprise, he noticed that his flame seemed to be weaker than what Yin had used despite her being 7 levels behind him.

'How is this possible? As a Solari Arch Knight, my flame should be able to suppress her with ease…' he thought with a frown. The only explanation for this would be that her flame was higher than his in terms of grade.

Leaving Kier to his own thoughts, Yin waved her hand and extinguished the flames before hopping back to Shiro.

"How was it?" Yin asked.

"Not bad." Shiro nodded.

"Is that it?" Yin pouted seeing her lack l.u.s.tre response.

"Mn? Good spell?" Shiro tilted her head.

". . . *sigh* I'm gonna go play with lil sis." Yin sighed.

Leaving a dumbfounded Shiro behind, Yin started to talk to Lisandra.

'Could it be that she wanted me to compliment her?' Shiro raised an eyebrow.

"Hm… I'll reward her later then." She muttered to herself before walking on the arena.

"I'm the last one. So, who wants to play?" Shiro chuckled.

"I will." A voice called out.

Her opponent was delicate man who looked quite feminine. Long black hair and a pair of clear silver eyes, he was definitely a sight to behold.

"Isaac Argent, level 58 Fractured Swordsman. I do apologise about my level but I believe that you wouldn't mind. After all, it seems like you can take care of anyone within 10 levels of you." He said while narrowing his eyes slightly.

"Hou? And what makes you think that?" Shiro smiled behind her mask. If she remembered correctly, it was also one of the Argent Family members that triggered the Emergency Raid which started this.

"That is because rather than human, you feel like a mass of killing intent and danger." He replied.

His response shocked the other party members since his analysis of them had always been rather tame. It was never something as extreme as what he had called Shiro.

"If you say it that way, you'll hurt my feelings." Shiro grinned.

"Spare me the jokes miss Nytri. I can clearly tell that you are suppressing a large portion of your power. Despite your physique, you are more monstrous than the monsters I have encountered. They have never given me the sense of death by just standing in their presence… unlike you." He narrowed his eyes.

"Calling me a monster, how hurtful. But I'll entertain you." Shiro laughed lightly. She had initially planned to end this in an instant using her spells but seeing Isaac's amusing analysis of her, she decided to duke it out with swords instead.

Tapping her necklace, she summoned Ataraxia and stood with a relatively relaxed posture.

Isaac brought out his own sword. It was a sheathed katana that was held around his waist.

"Begin!" Starting the match, Kier stepped back and watched with interest. His interaction with Shiro allowed him to see her power with spells. Now that she was challenged by Isaac, he was curious about her power with the sword.

"First stance – Rippling Moonlight." Isaac muttered in a low voice as his body flickered from his spot.

'He's coming!' Shiro thought as she activated her Sword Domain.

A gust of wind blew around Shiro, forming a small dome.

'Sword Domain!' Isaac's gaze flickered in admiration. In the time that he had spent inside this city, he had never seen anyone with an attack domain never mind a sword domain, which was a step higher than attack domain.

And yet, the mysterious girl in front of him had showed him just that. A few of the members in the hall shared the same thought as Isaac. If one was able to unlock the attack domain, they would be hailed as one of the top 5 geniuses of Cairosa. Hell, maybe even the TOP genius of Cairosa. But she had gone a step further and showcased the sword domain.

Focusing her mind on her surroundings, she gripped the handle of her sword tightly. If not for the fact that she wanted to clash against him with the sword, she would have never allowed him to approach her unless she willed it.

*CLANG!!!!

Flicking her sword into a reverse grip, she raised it behind her and blocked his strike.

"I never expected that Miss Nytri to have unlocked the sword domain." Isaac smiled while backing off slightly.

"Hehe, since you've seen mine, why don't you show me yours as well?" Shiro smiled.
