Ajax was shocked to see that mission details and clenched his fists because the demons were trying to invade when half of the powerful cultivators from the Zrochester province were focused on the contest in the Ylercester province.
Moreover, no one would be expecting an attack from the demons. So, it would be the right time for the demon to strike and the powerful cultivators who were staying back would not even notice that they were killed.
'I need to stop it. Not for the humans, but for the sake of rewards.'
From the stories he heard from Elder Boron, the main character would always be betrayed by the humans; instead of the other powerful races. So, other than those who are close to him, Ajax didn't care much about the other humans.
However, the reward for completing the mission was so good that Ajax could not resist it.

So, he nodded his head and said, "I will be waiting for you, young master."
After saying that, Darbaudr entered the Ylercester province because he really wanted to go back to the province he had been born in and see what happened to his place after they were massacred by the demon army.
