Chapter 26 - Late to the rescue, a sin deserving of death
Instructor’s monitoring room.
All the surveillance videos from Starry Eyes were broadcast in real time. Some of the instructors present had solemn expressions, some paced back and forth, and some watched their students' performance with satisfaction.
"Look at this!" An instructor enlarged one of the videos to full screen and rewind it to play it again.
Everyone looked at the light screen, and saw three young people fighting with the insect on the screen.
"Queen Mother?!" The instructor on the side gasped when he saw the insect.
"How did they attract this queen?!"
"Don't panic, look at it slowly."
The video showed every detail of their brave fight with the queen mother, and everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
It was not until a blue light in the video swallowed the entire lens, and after three-seconds of white screen, the image gradually appeared, and there was only a black mass left on the ground.
"The three actually killed it?!"
An instructor said with a strained face: "This is bad, they killed the queen mother, those insects in the institute will riot!"
"This is also one of the tasks they have to face." The chief officer in charge of the training said calmly, "The purpose of training is to test how they can handle emergencies. Only soldiers who have experienced actual combat can be fearless on the battlefield."
