“What did you just say?” Kaido’s eyes turned frosty upon hearing Damon’s words.

Kaido’s figure vanished but Damon’s eyes could easily follow the golden trail as he turned casually throwing his open palm at the sword descending on him from above!

The two were yet to make contact yet an invisible force erupted between Damon’s palm and the golden greatsword, sending ripples across the sky as the two struggled for supremacy!

Damon’s body darted back as blood dripped from his palms which had a deep cut. Damon looked at the palm and realized he even got burnt as well, leading him to raise his eyebrows with genuine surprise.
“Not only are you at the Esteemed level of the spirit realm but you are also a lancer class fighter... This world has been so focused on the power of a mage, I didn’t expect a cosmic being would truly choose a fighter over a mage” Damon wore genuine surprise on his face.
“Death mage, welding three extra elements, with the power and strength of a lone wolf which is already in the spirit realm... This explains why you dared to come here but even then it won’t be enough. I will be taking your life here” Kaido said but Damon only laughed at his words.
“What is dead cannot be killed. You are not my opponent!” Damon declared coldly as the wound on his hand instantly regenerated leaving Kaido frowning.
“Hmph! Do you think the immortal body can save you from me? Don’t be a naive kid, no one is truly immortal!” Kaido sneered.
“And no one is truly invincible!” Damon’s eyes revealed fierce killing lights as countless magic arrays began surging into reality!

Kaido’s figure raced forward with his blade coming down at Damon like a divine hammer. It moved so fast, countless afterimages of the blade filled the sky, raining down on Damon without hesitation!

Behind Damon, countless bone spears appeared and with a flick of his fingers, they all rained forward!

A powerful shockwave erupted, blowing away both the sword images and the bone spears! Damon could be seen standing while holding on to the scorching blade close to his neck with his bleeding hand.

“We have only been exchanging pointers so far. Let the real battle begin!” Damon’s calm demeanor suddenly vanished as his eyes turned blood red and the black cracks began spreading all over his face from his eyes!

Suddenly painful cries and screams of countless people filled the sky causing Kaido to feel lightheaded! Before he could even defend against it, the hand used to catch the blade exploded as blood surged out uncontrollably smashing into the golden knight while sending him flying back!
“BLOOD CONTROL: BLOOD SEA!” Damon bellowed as the blood began revolving around Kaido like a fierce sea with him at the center.
“Die and become my pawn!” Damon grinned like a mad man as darkish-green flames began surging around him.
