Chapter 14: Chapter 13: Terrifying fighting talent!
“What the hell is this?” Daniel Ross growled but he was surrounded by mages at higher realms. The magic Academy had their people there to make sure they stop him from interfering too. It was hopeless.
“No one interferes in the examination” One of the examiners dressed in Gray robes aid coldly.
The lady seemed slightly aged, maybe in her mid-figure and she wore glances.
“This is no longer an examination! The life of a distinguished student is at risk, put an end to it!” Liana growled.
“Watch your tone wretch! You are in no position to dictate the actions of the magic Academy” The lady said coldly and didn’t bother paying attention to Liana or Daniel Ross again.
The corruption in the kingdom was just too glaring. Nobles can do whatever they please and even go as far as to bully lesser nobles into submission.
“You will die here!” Luthor said coldly as the two plain skeleton warriors staggered forward slowly!

“Death is inevitable. If mine comes today then that’s fine but that doesn’t mean I won’t try sending you there first!” the calm Damon suddenly turned fierce as he charged forwards without hesitation but this time he didn’t cast the shadowless flight.
The shadowless flight is a movement technique that focuses on traveling within the enemy’s blind spot. It is a tool for assassins unfortunately, it is too low level, a lot of people already know about the secrets of the technique, rendering it almost ineffective in this kingdom.
Since Luthor has already seen it before, it’s possible he would put his guard up, so trying it out and hoping it works can be considered impossible.
Nevertheless, Damon infused his mana with his body, just as he was thought by Daniel Ross, so how movement speed was quite higher than the normal level!

Suddenly the supposed slow skeleton warriors dashed forward like crazed beasts, closing the distance between them and Damon almost instantly!
“What the hell?” Damon gasped as he saw the bony claws swinging at him ruthlessly!

His eyes squinted as his hands reached for the dagger sheathed at his waist! Seeing he had no intentions of retreating people were shocked.
Is he suicidal?
That was the thought racing through the minds of many!

Damon’s upper half leaned forward and low enough for the claws of the skeletons to brush past his fluttering hair!

Damon raced passed his bony foes with murderous intentions blazing in his eyes.
“Come back now!” Luthor was terrified upon seeing the look in his eyes and tried to retreat but fell on his bottom again. He had no choice but to crawl away in hopes of running from Damon!
No one expected him to successfully evade such an attack using such a method!

The skeletons stopped and after a brief pause, they began racing towards Damon again, surprisingly catching up to him before he could reach Luthor!
“So fast!” Damon gasped in shock as he saw two claws swing towards him from behind!
Gritting his teeth, Damon stopped his advance and crouched once again to dodge the attack while his dagger flashed fiercely!
Peng!
The blade shattered on the body of the skeleton and Damon’s palm tore due to the clash, bleeding badly!
“Sturdy as well...” Damon could sense everything wasn’t going according to plan anymore but he wasn’t flustered
Swoosh!
A skeleton warrior swung its feet at the crouched Damon but it couldn’t hit its target as Damon was already airborne, wearing a stern look on his face!
Clank!
The second skeleton jumped into the air with its open claw, racing towards Damon’s face but Damon didn’t look flustered.
His face tilted to the right while his clenched fist swung forward ruthlessly, aiming for the skeleton’s hollow chest!
Bang!
Following the loud explosion sound, the skeleton was seen flying back, crashing to the ground violently while Alex fell to the ground on his feet but he landed roughly, raising some dust!
“Isn’t that the bigger stage all fighters must pass through before choosing a class?”
“They use mana to reinforce their body, granting them superhuman capabilities! My God! What has the Ross family been teaching this kid?”
“Reinforcement! It is called reinforcement! How can he be talented as a mage and as a fighter as well?”
“It’s a shame he will die here, if it was against a single skeleton warrior he would have won but two is just too much... he won’t survive this”
“Yea, the skeleton warriors have strengths comparable to reinforced humans, plus they are indestructible for people at this level... it will only fix itself once destroyed...”
“Necromancers have always been terrifying! The only way to defeat them is to kill the summoner... but with this current level of strength, Damon Ross cannot reach Luthor”
