Chapter 14: Failed
Inside the presidential suite on the top floor of the hotel, a crystal chandelier shone, emitting a pale golden glow throughout the room.
The European-style room looked very luxurious, making the room look more spacious.
Christian’s eyes wept the room with his calm gaze and he couldn’t find the woman who accompanied him earlier. His hands were tightly clenched.
He only went out for a while to take a shower, but Ella suddenly disappeared.
Was the woman toying with him?
He was reminded of Ella’s appearance today, she was dressed in a pink dress. That woman was a combination of an innocent and charming figure.
His anger began to rise uncontrollably at the thought of a man staring at her body while she walked around with that dress outside.

However, a soft knock then sounded from the door. Christian furrowed his brows in annoyance at the sound that bothered him.
And the moment he saw the figure entering the room, the frown on his forehead instantly disappeared.
His lips curled into a faint smile as he said, “I thought you came to your senses and left.”
Every sentence that left Christian’s lips was an insult, but Ella was used to hearing it.
She seems to have filters that could sort out which words should she take to the hearts and which shouldn’t. All insults seemed to be filtered out and did not enter her mind.
Her beautiful face kept smiling. “How could I leave you alone? Someone should take advantage of the opportunity they finally got.”
Ella smiled gently and then pushed a trolley close to Christian. “I’m afraid you’re hungry after your shower. So I ordered some food for you.”
“Oh? Is that true?” Christian casually twirled the glass he was carrying. The anger in his eyes disappeared instantly.
“Of course.”
Ella ignored Christian’s nonchalant attitude and walked towards him pushing the trolley.
“I really admire you. Of course I have to treat you very well.”
After saying that, Ella let go of the trolley and approached Christian. Her hand went up to hug Christian’s neck and her sweet lips moved closer to his ear. With her hot breath she said, “Did you miss me?”
The man believed that in terms of appearance, face and body, Ella was not inferior to other women.
Christian’s eyes darkened even more and his passion burned. However, he tried to restrain himself. His large palms held up Ella’s slender waist.
“Let’s see what your plan is.”
Christian wanted to see what this woman would do tonight.
Inwardly, Ella cursed Christian. She had tried to do anything to please him. But it seemed, whatever she did would not be able to satisfy this man.
However, she could not give up. She wasn’t going to let Christian kick her out of here. Her eyes swept across the room when she realized there was a candle in the corner of the room.
The candle made her eyes sparkle brightly.
Ella didn’t know if this was a good idea or not, but it was better than nothing.
Ella smiled sweetly at Christian and caressed his neck with her slender fingers, as if trying to rekindle the already burning passion between them.
