When Will That Day Come (Part Four)
“Young miss, what happened to you?”

Yin JiYao arrived back at the prime minister’s manor, and Pei’er helped her inside. The partially-dried blood trail on her forehead was especially frightening.

When the gatekeeper saw this, he was given a fright, “This old servant will immediately send for an imperial physician!”

For a girl’s face to be wounded was no small matter. Yin JiYao had not yet gotten married, so it would be bad if this injury resulted in a scar.

“No need.”

Yin JiYao’s voice was cold, “I want to go and sleep. Nobody is to disturb me.”

Nobody was to disturb her?

The servants pondered what she meant. The manor only had two masters remaining. When she said that nobody was to disturb her, was that not just saying that the eldest young sir should not disturb her?

On the surface, the servants complied, but once Yin JiYao left, they immediately went to the study to report to Yin Shuo.

In the end, the servants understood very clearly who made the final decisions in the manor.

Yin JiYao fell asleep in her clothes and was awoken by a sharp pain in her forehead after an unknown span of time. An unfamiliar man’s face loomed large in front of her.

She subconsciously slapped him away, “Impudence!”

Mysteriously, the man who had been slapped stood up and looked at Yin Shuo in confusion. The latter walked over to the side of the bed, “JiYao, this is the doctor who has come to treat you. Don’t move and let him treat the injury to your forehead. It would not be good if it left a scar.”

A doctor, it turned out that he was a doctor.

Yin JiYao’s expression turned as cold as ice, “If it scars, let it scar. With a scar, eldest brother won’t have me be a honey trap. ”

Yin Shuo’s expression immediately turned ugly. He then turned and saw the doctor look away and pretend not to hear anything.

It was fortunate that he had not allowed for an imperial physician to be called and had instead gotten a normal doctor. If any mention of a honey trap made it into the court, he would have a big problem on his hands.

“Doctor, how is the wound to her head?”

The doctor regained his wits, “Replying to Lord Prime Minister, the young miss’ wound is from bumping against a wooden table. As long as the ointment is applied properly, it will be fine. This lowly one will also prescribe a calming medicine, and she will recover in a few days.”

“Calming?”

The doctor said: “That’s right. The young miss has suffered from a shocking situation, and that does nothing to help her recover. Once her mental situation is stable, her external injuries will recover faster.”

In the end, something had happened to her. She had been wounded and suffered a mental shock?

Yin Shuo furrowed his brow and coldly said: “We’ve troubled doctor. The maidservant who takes care of the young miss got hurt from bumping into a door. That’s why we brought doctor in to treat her. The payment will not be much, but I hope that doctor will accept.”

An old servant stepped forward and gave the doctor a large silver ingot. The doctor’s eyes immediately lit up.

“Yes, yes, yes, this lowly one came in to treat a maidservant. As for anything else, I do not know anything. Lord Prime Minister, please do not worry!”

After he left, Yin Shuo dismissed all of the maidservants in the room.

“What exactly happened today? I told you to get close to Chen ChuXiu to get information, so how did you end up like this?”

Yin JiYao stared at him, “He wanted to force himself on me, and when I tried to escape, he caught me. At that time, I hit my head on a table.”

Yin Shuo’s expression changed but quickly returned to normal. In the end, there was a look of hope.

She noticed this change and sneered: “Chen ChuXiu really was right. Even if he brought up the idea of taking me as a concubine to eldest brother, eldest brother would agree. Isn’t that right?”

“Unfortunately, I’ve disappointed eldest brother. Nothing happened between us. Not only did he not succeed, but he also got slapped by me. Our relationship will never be able to be repaired.”

“Oh.”

Yin Shuo’s expression was unchanged, “That’s a pity. Chen ChuXiu was a very good choice. But it’s fine. After you left the manor, I found an even better choice. The director of the Board of Rites…”

He was completely immersed in his own world. He could not even hear the sarcasm in Yin JiYao’s voice.

“Eldest brother! Are you my brother or not?!”

Yin JiYao smacked her own forehead as if she had gone mad, as blood sprayed from the wound that had just scabbed over, “I was nearly raped and nearly lost my purity! But you were only thinking about whether or not you could preserve your position as prime minister. In your eyes, am I nothing more than a chess piece?”

“JiYao.”

Yin Shuo furrowed his brow and used the back of his hand to wipe away the blood that had just been sprayed everywhere, “You are a young miss of the Yin family. How unsightly is it to lose your temper like this? It’s lacking in decorum.”

“I am not a young miss of the Yin family. I’m even lower than a prostitute like Yao Yue! When others look at her, they give her a bit of respect to show respect to the Gu family’s second young sir, but for me? In Chen ChuXiu’s eyes, I am even lower than a prostitute!”

“Smack!”

Yin Shuo calmly slapped her, “Do you know what you’re saying?”

It was deathly quiet. Yin JiYao did not speak, as the blood from the wound on her forehead dripped onto the brocade blanket, wetting an intricate embroidery of a cherry flower.

In the end, they were still siblings, and Yin Shuo found it a little unbearable, “I have already told you about the Yin family’s current plight. You have lived in comfort for over a decade, so you will not be able to avoid the burden that you must bear. But don’t worry. I will get revenge for you on Chen ChuXiu for his improper conduct toward you.”

Yin JiYao hung her head, resembling a strawman on its last legs after being knocked over by a storm.

Yin Shuo thought that she would not respond, turning around and leaving.

“That day, when will it be?”

Yin JiYao’s voice was hoarse, as she suddenly spoke.

Of course, this was referring to regaining power in court, collapsing Marquis Gu’s Manor, and returning to being below one and above all others.

Yin Shuo stopped in his tracks but did not say before continuing out.
