She was not the least bit interested in their conversation, so after sneaking a glance at Ji Ziming, who was coldly interacting with the men, she moved to another corner with her plate in hand.

One woman had pretty makeup and was clad in a bright-red evening gown that made her look stunningly sexy.
The other woman was clad in a simple yet elegant-looking, light pink evening gown. It was refreshing to the eyes and made her clear face look more exquisite. The overall feeling she gave off was one of comfort and ease.
“I’m talking to you. Are you mute?” The woman in a red gown sneered disdainfully when she did not reply.
“Excuse me; why should I answer you? Do I know you?” She rolled her eyes at the woman and replied with an attitude.
She was someone who was not cowed by force but would easily give in when faced with reason and emotion. Thus, with the woman’s bad attitude, she did not feel like explaining her relationship with that annoying fellow to her at all.
“You!” The woman’s eyes nearly popped out of their sockets from anger. She looked as if she wanted to tear her apart.
“Stop calling me ‘you’ or ‘me’. We are not that close.” Pei Ge coldly harrumphed and then bluntly said.
“Do you know who I am?” The woman raised her chin and looked at her with ill-disguised disdain.
“I don’t care who you are.” Pei Ge rolled her eyes in exasperation as she complained inside, It’s that annoying fellow’s fault for attracting so many peach blossoms.
The woman moved to speak again at Pei Ge’s arrogant attitude but was stopped by her companion.
“Miss Pei, Leyu did not have ill intentions toward you. She is just a little hot-tempered. I hope you won’t mind.”
