Arthur hadn’t slept this well in a long time.
He had always been tormented by hunger, so even in his sleep he was always fully alert.

His hands itched to hug her even more forcefully.

She was in extremely terrible health.
With a bit of sense, anyone would know not to touch cold water during this time and aggravate the slipping away of their life.
So was she begging to die?

Arthur stretched out a hand to the door. With a light push, he could pull the escaped woman out.
“Dad, mom… I want to go home.”

Elizabeth cautiously reported, “The council of elders has come to ask for the person.”
