“This is not important anymore.” Zhai Sheng looked slightly better after getting an affirmative answer from Qiao Nan. “The information was sent to the camp, to my office precisely. The information ended up in Zhai Hua’s hand out of coincidence. She was supposed to bring it back for me. However, she opened the package out of curiosity.”
When he knew that the investigation results were sent through postal service to the camp, Zhai Sheng, who had completed his mission and was finally contactable, knew that something was wrong. He made a phone call immediately to the reception room in the army camp to ask about the package.
Zhai Sheng had thought that as long as he made it clear that the package must be sent to his office and that no one was to open it, particularly Zhai Hua, things would not be too serious.
However, Zhai Sheng was too late.
The soldier from the guardhouse told Zhai Sheng that the camp had indeed received a package.
Zhai Hua happened to pass by and saw that it was for Zhai Sheng.
Everyone in the camp knew that Zhai Sheng and Zhai Hua were siblings. Since Zhai Hua offered to take it on Zhai Sheng’s behalf, the other party agreed right away and passed the package to Zhai Hua.

Qiao Nan recollected. “It seems to be the telephone from your office!”

When the phone rang, Qiao Nan took a glance at the caller ID display. Seeing that it was a familiar number, she picked it up to answer the call.
Now that Qiao Nan thought about it, the familiar number was the number from Zhai Sheng’s office.
“Very good.” Zhai Sheng could not help but heave a sigh of relief upon knowing this. “Nan Nan, you have done a good job. Don’t worry. I won’t let anything happen to Zhai Hua. I will end the call.” Hopefully, they could stall her for as long as possible.
