Why would the academy send its students to such dangerous places when their lives could be at stake? To such a question, there was a simple answer. When trying to gain power, one must walk along the line of life and death in order to obtain it. Nothing came for free. As long as a student crushed their token, they would be immediately teleported out of the magic realm. Only those who were too full of themselves or met with an extremely powerful monster who instantly killed them would end up dying. Every year there are at least ten to twenty deaths due to this.
Now you would think the parents of these kids who died would be upset, but in this world, such a thing was an everyday occurrence. Goddess Kana, good luck!" Kiliffia gave Kana a hug before taking a deep breath and ran towards the yellow colored portal to line up.

Most likely students in their fourth or fifth years. Each one had metal plated armor on and compared to Kana, who only wore her everyday leather armor with the sword Creige had forged for her at her side.
