The guard blushed, seeing such a pretty girl smile at him. He scratched his nose and coughed a few times as he said: "As part of the knights, it is my duty to help those in dire need." He then leaned forward and whispered: "If you go up the street on the right, you will see an inn called Sleeping Moon Inn. It's cheap and safe. Tell the innkeeper, Miss Glancia, that Bridan sent you. She will set you up well with a decent discount. It will include your meals as well."
Kana felt Bridan was definitely going to be blessed in the future. "Thank you very much."
Kana once again bowed and headed through the gates. It was times like these that she was glad she was female. Such tricks worked well. It was something she had seen used a lot in her past life. Once she did, she began to cry and shiver all over. The man who yelled out came running over and held the girl in his arms. He looked at the man who had come with the woman that was now staring at the two with a confused expression. After some words from the woman, the man who had just arrived began to beat the other man while the woman stood there with a smirk on her face. A true white lotus act that garnered much sympathy.
Kana applied this knowledge and was able to not only get into the city but secure funds and a cheap place to stay. Although Kana disdained this kind of behavior, she had to say it worked quite well.
Kana soon found the inn that she was told about and walked inside. The building itself was made out of wood, stone, and mortar. When she entered, the first floor was set up like a small diner with a few tables strewn about here and there. There were a few rough looking people sitting at some of the tables that only raised their heads to look who had come in before going back to eating. It was a slightly chubby woman who walked over wearing an apron with a smile on her face. She wiped her hands on her apron as she asked: "Are you here to eat or stay?"
"Umm… Sir Bridan told me to find a Miss Glancia as ask to stay here for a while." Kana replied. Not sure if this woman was the one she was looking for or not.
"Oh? That man has done it again. I am Miss Glancia. Everyone calls me Cia. Come this way. I will register you. How many nights do you plan to stay?" Cia asked as she walked over to her counter. She then took out a large black book.

"This… I am not sure, to be honest. For now, as long as this will get me." Kana did not know how much money was worth in this place, so she just plopped down the entire bag of coins that Bridan had given her.
"Ahh, dear, no, I do not want money. Bridan sent you so he can pay." Cia smiled as she pushed the pouch back to Kana.
Kana was amazed at how friendly people here were. She smiled and bowed her head. "Thank you very much. If you need any help around the inn, let me know. I will do what I can."

So just hang about for now and explore the city. Everyone here is usually friendly, well, on this side of the city, that is. Stay away from the eastren district. Here is your key. You will stay in room 5 on the third floor. It comes with its own facilities unlike the other rooms." Cia said with a smile as she handed Kana a bronze key.
Kana took the key and gave her thanks before heading to the third floor. She found her room and went inside. The room was not all that big but it did come with a small bathroom and a tub for bathing. It was clean and well maintained which was good. Kana walked over and sat on the bed before opening her menu and summoning both Aoi and Naru out. "Sorry, it took longer than expected."
"So we will go search for the doors now?" Aoi asked.
"Mmm… I need you two to look out for each other as you do. I will not be leaving the city so make sure you take your time and carefully look for the doors. I will be taking the knights test soon so that we have some money while staying here. This city is big and what we are looking for might not even be here. I have a feeling we will be here for a long time." Kana answered. Although she wanted to quickly clear the last few floors she knew at this moment she could not rush things since she didn't even know where the boss room was to enter the next level..
