"The next person to die is that pope!" Kana said firmly. He was the one who started all of this. If it was not for him, none of this would have happened.
"Kana!" Yuthia floated down from the sky. She, too, had a big bone to pick with this pope. Although she knew most of it was her fault for allowing such people to use her name to form a following. Even still, she wanted to right her wrong and let the humans of this continent know that the goddess they have been worshipping this entire time was, in fact, a beastkin that they so looked down on. "I am coming with you. I wish to deal with the pope myself."
"Mm… I will let you handle it. I will just clean up any death element in the area." Kana gave Yuthia a smile before calling out for Naru and Aoi to return.
Creige would always go where Kana was, so he also volunteered to go. Sei was no different since Yuthia was going. As for the rest, they were to stay and help clean up the rest of the undead and devil army.
The continent of Munas was hit hard. Most of the human men had died after being drafted for the war. Only those of a young age were left. They were no more than 11 years of age and under. Too young to carry out the duties of a head of the house and too young to marry and produce offspring. Now, all of this fell on to the hands of the women to run the house and work to make ends meet.
Kana decided that after she dealt with the pope that all lands will fall under Rural rule except the Stone Hammer Kingdom who was protected from any of this. Stone Hammer only boarded the Rural Kingdom. This meant the lands would be allotted to new noble families and turn into states under Claine's rule. She hoped this would turn the continent of Munas into a peaceful place where all races could co exist. Just like the other mixed race continents on this planet.
The war was a big blow to not just the Rural Kingdom but all kingdoms and lands of Xeneria. The death toll was in the hundreds of millions. Mass funerals were to be held to send off the dead once the war came to its final conclusion.
Although Kana hated the fact that she was not here to help when her friends and family were fighting, she knew with her prior strength she would not have been able to do much like everyone else. If not for the fact that she had gained the ability to 'eat' the death element, this war may not have ended up the way it did.
Kana and her group quickly arrived at the cathedral in the Yuthia theocracy. The whole place had turned black from the death element. Naru and Kana both went to work devouring the death elements. Yuthia and Sei walked into the cathedral and made their way to the bottom floor. "Yuthia, what do you plan to do?"
"I plan to show the humans just who their goddess is and bring down judgment on the man who stained my name. I just wish I did this sooner." Yuthia was filled with regret. She had been so laid back and lazy about it all. If only she acted sooner…
Sei smiled and held Yuthia's hand and leaned over and kissed her cheek. "I will be by your side in this life and the next."
Yuthia felt her eyes tear up. She gripped the hand that held hers. She felt lucky. Sei was willing to be by her side no matter what. No matter how foolish she acted or how perverted she was, Sei stood at her side. "Sie… Let's get married."

"Then we will have our wedding here in the mortal world so that our friends here can witness our binding." Yuthia had already decided she would not hold it in the realm of gods. She wanted Kana and everyone else to be there too.
"Then when things settle down a bit, we will need to prepare! Come, we must hurry and skin this human!" Sei became extremely excited thinking about the dresses and other things she had to prepare. She had dreamed of this day for so long and it was finally going to happen! Yuthia smiled as she let Sei drag her along.
In a tunnel deep under the cathedral in a room sat two men. One was the Pope himself while the other was High Priest Randals. "Your Holiness, what do we do now?"
"This… I am afraid our time has finally come to an end. I never expected the Devil King to be so weak that he would lose to those filthy mongrels. Randals… You have been one of my high priests for a long time now. I suggest taking your own life as I am about to do in order to now suffer what is to come. " The Pope closed his eyes as he said this. He knew there was no more time left. He had no choice but to accept his fate, but he would rather go out on his own terms. He waved his hand creating a spear of light and sent it flying straight towards his heart. He waited for the stinging pain to envelope him until he finally took his last breath but that pain never came. He opened his eyes to see the one woman he never wanted to see again. "Yuthia!"
