While Kana, Mary, and Creige went on a manhunt to slaughter those who had wronged Mary, Aoi and Naru were currently amusing themselves with Commander Branson. "Look, he yells every time his skin melts just a little."
"I do not get how someone so fragile could think of going against Kana." Aoi shook her head as she watched the man trapped in her bubble. "Look at his pleading eyes."
"For some reason, the way he looks at you pisses me off." Naru didn't like how the man seemed to be pleading with Aoi, or it may be just the fact that the man was looking at Aoi.
"Hehe… After all, this time, has little Naru succumbed to my beauty?" Aoi flew over and wrapped her little arms around Naru, who lowered his head in embarrassment. When Aoi saw Naru didn't deny it, she also became embarrassed, and the two went quiet. Aoi's hug tightened slightly. They have known each other for a long time and have grown very close. So these kinds of feelings were bound to form one day. As for the man who was being slowly melted away, he could only grit his teeth as he was being fed dog food by two small elementals.
"Wouldn't it be easier to just kill them all?" Kana asked. She did not understand why they were only killing one here or there. In the end, all of these people looked down on Mary at some time or another or would.
"I am starting to think that too. We have killed a hundred people who I know have caused me harm, but I know most of these others would feel the same way..." Mary replied.
"Alright then, let's just kill both armies. Big Sister has the other army, and we will take this one. After that, we will go to the city where all the higher ups are located and kill them too. How does that sound?" Kana just wanted to get this done and over with. She still had a lot to do, and she had no idea what her third trial would be like.
"Let me handle it." Creige said as he flew forward and raised his hands. A massive magic circle formed in the air. "[Demonic Retribution]"
Crackles of black lighting flew across the sky from all directions. All of them gathering into a singular spot in the middle of the magic circle. A ball of black lightning slowly began to form, growing bigger and bigger. Due to all the sounds on the battlefield, no one took notice of such things in the sky. At least not until it was too late.

The Jokasins Empire army never stood a chance. The pillar of black lighting that had formed was larger than the massive army. It fell down, engulfing the entire area. Mary watched on with her mouth wide open. She had never seen such power before. The entire force that the Jokasins Empire had sent out was completely wiped out, even taking out some of the Firlong Nation's army with it. Off to the side, a voice filled with anger yelled over. "Hey, you! Handsome Husband! How could you do that! Some of those were my prey!"
"My wife wanted them dead…." Creige answered. His short and to the point answer caused Camlia to facepalm. She had forgotten this guy was a slave to his wife. Spoiling her to the point that people want to puke just looking at them.
"Humph! Fine! I was getting bored anyway. My little teddy is able to kill them all as if it was nothing. Such weak beings on this world, I wonder how they are able to survive?" Camlia waved her hand, and the area behind her suddenly exploded in blood as all the Firlong Nation's people died instantly. "Okay, done here too, let's get going."
"We just need to pick up Aoi and Naru." Kana said as she flew in the direction the two had disappeared. When she arrived, her eyes went wide when she saw the two in each other's arms kissing. "Did I ummm, come at a bad time?"
Aoi quickly shoved Naru away and wiped her mouth. "It's not what you think!"
Kana chuckled, seeing Aoi's blue little cheeks blush. "What are you embarrassed about? Nothing wrong with you two kissing. To be honest with how you two got along, it was only a matter of time."
"Kana!" Aoi pursed her lips and flew over to Naru, who was getting up after being tossed away and brushed the dirt off him. "Sorry..."
"It's fine..." Naru was going to yell but decided to hold it in.
"Alright, you two, we are going. Did you finish doing that to the commander?" Kana asked.
"Oh! I forgot about him, one second." Aoi looked around to see a red puddle of goop forming at the bottom of her bubble. "Yeah, he's dead alright. If he is still alive, he is now a new life form..."
"Okay, then let's go." Kana said before turning around. Aoi and Naru quickly perched themselves on Kana's right shoulder. Unlike normal where they would each take a shoulder, this time they sat together holding hands. "Mary, which way to this underground city?"
"We have to head east where that tall building is. It is one of the two buildings that are still standing. The Firlong empire has one, and the one we are headed to belongs to the Jokasins Empire. Each one has a trie defensive barrier to keep the monster out and protect it from enemy weapons. There is a working elevator inside that goes deep underground to the city while the building itself is used as the main command base for the Jokasins Empire's military. The whole place is rigged with weapons." Mary explained.
"No back door?" Kana asked.
"None. They were afraid of the city being infiltrated if they created more ways to the city. Even after all these years there is only the single passage. But right now the buildings should be less guarded. But most of the weapons systems there are automated but shouldn't be too much of an issue. It is just the barrier we have to deal with."
