It took over a week before Kana finally woke up. Her hair had also returned to its purple and white highlighted color. When she first opened her eyes, she felt herself in a warm embrace. She looked up to see a handsome face in front of hers, sleeping soundly. She smiled and snuggled into his c.h.e.s.t. She decided until her babies are born, she will no longer get involved in worldly things unless she was forced into it.
An hour passed before Creige opened his eyes and looked down at the girl in his arms, staring back at him. His eyes went warm instantly as he leaned his head down and kissed the girl's soft lips. "You're awake."
"Mmm… Sorry for worrying you. How are Naru and Aoi?" Kana asked since she did not see them, but her question was soon answered as she heard her name and was smacked into her cheek by a blue figure. "Kana! I'm so sorry!"
Kana smiled and petted the little figure back. "Why are you sorry. You did nothing wrong. I am sure what I did scared you. But at that time, I had no choice."
"I know! But still I… Kana! Whaaa!" Aoi burst into tears rubbing her little face back and forth on Kana's cheek.
Kana looked up to see Naru floating in the air above them. "It's good you are okay. Sorry for what I did."
"No, it's fine. If you didn't, you would not have saved your child. But you understand now, right? Eventually..." Naru did not want to finish his words.
"I understand, and you do not need to worry. You just need to evolve, and then I will only need a small part of you to finish the process." Kana explained lightly. She had no idea why she knew all of this, but she instinctively knew.
"Then I will work hard to evolve." Naru was filled with determination. Not because he did not want to disappear but because Kana needed him.
"I will be waiting." Kana smiled and went to get up, but she felt a strong pain in her stomach. "Ahh!"
"Kana!" Criege sat up and held Kana's hand. "What's wrong!?"
"My stomach! I think..." Kana couldn't even talk. The eggs in her stomach seemed to be pushing down!
"Aoi, Naru, get the doctor!" Creige yelled as he quickly threw the blankets off Kana and stripped her shorts off. He then quickly covered her back up. Only after he had propped Kana up into a sitting position did he take her hand. He was nervous his babies were about to come out!
A female doctor came running into the room with a bag full of things, followed by Camlia and the three princesses. "Is it time!?" Camlia yelled out. Her voice filled with worry.
"Miss Kana, please try to push. You need to push in order to get the eggs out. Even if it is painful, you must do it." The doctor ordered. She had only needed to take a peek at Kana's crotch to see the tip of the egg pushing its way out. She then looked at Creige. "Stop staring and instruct your wife to push!"
"Yes! Kana, you need to push. Breath deep and press down. Come on, you can do it!" Creige went right to work being her couch. He ignored the fact that his hand was cracking from her squeezing it so hard.
"Ahhhh!!!!!" Kana yelled out. Her face turned bright red as she pushed as hard as she could. She felt like her crotch was going to be ripped apart.
"The first one is almost out! " The doctor had her head under the blankets and saw the solid black egg push its way out. Right behind it was a white egg.
"Camlia, come take this and wrap it up!" The doctor yelled, not giving Camlia any face at all.
"Yes!" Camlia did not hesitate to follow orders as she quickly grabbed a towel from the doctor's bag and wrapped it around the egg.
"The last one is coming. Hold on just a bit more." The doctor reached in and pulled the last egg out. Each egg was about the size of a human baby, one black and one white. "It's out!"
Hearing those words, Kana let out a sigh of relief as she finally relaxed her body. She was covered in sweat. She never expected as soon as she woke up, she would end up giving birth. She watched as the doctor wiped the eggs down and wrapped them up tight into warm blankets before turning her attention to Kana. "Let me feel your pulse." The doctor began checking up on Kana's condition and even examined her private area to make sure there was no excessive bleeding. "All is fine. She just needs to rest a bit."
"And the babies?" Kana asked.
"They are both healthy. They should hatch within a few weeks. For now, you just need to keep them warm. So keep the eggs close by at all times, okay?" The doctor answered with a smile as she handed the two eggs over to Kana.
Kana took them into her arms carefully, treating them like they were the most precious thing in the world."Mm… Mmm… Creige… Look our babies.." Tears rolled down her cheek. Just a week ago, she had almost lost one of them. Now they were both born and healthy, she was just waiting to see them poke out of their shells.
"Yes, they are." Creige had a big smile on his face as he gazed at the two oval shaped eggs. He couldn't wait for the two little ones to hatch.
"You two just need to keep them warm, and they will hatch in no time. Kana, you are to stay in bed until then. You can not be away from them at all. I will be back tomorrow to check on your condition. If anything happens between now and then, get me as soon as possible. And lastly. Congratulations on becoming parents." The doctor said with a smile before packing her things up.
"Thank you, doctor!" Kana bowed her head slightly.
"Just doing my job Miss Kana. Camlia, come with me. I need to speak with you.'' The doctor grabbed Camlia and dragged her out of the room.
"Tess, what is it?" Camlia asked, her voice full of annoyance. She was just pulled away from her nieces or nephews!
Tess turned and asked: "You noticed, right?"
