Kana went through the rest of the reports and couldn't find anything else of use. She shut off the infocube and got up. "Misaki, put your pants back on. We need to go check the labs."
"Already!?" Misaki pouted as she stomped over to pick up the pair of pants on the floor and reluctantly put them on.
Kana, with a pouty Misaki, and Ganjo all headed to the locked labs they had passed earlier. "Misaki, do you know what they were trying to do in these labs?"
"Let's see if I recall correctly. I think one of the people here said something about gene manipulation. I think they were trying to grow things from the ground up." Misaki replied.
Kana nodded and looked around the lab. There wasn't anything too interesting in the lab she was in. Even so, she made very sure not to touch anything. She did not know if any of the things here held any kind of deadly chemicals. After a quick once over, she went to the next lab and repeated the process. Out of twenty labs on this floor, she found one that had something interesting. "So this is where they made the skin you are wearing, Misaki?"
"Should be. I never paid much attention to things on this floor. The next floor has some interesting things. There is even a sexy hunk of metal on the floor below." Misaki's eyes shone brightly as she thought about going to the third subfloor.
Kana blushed slightly, thinking that there might be a male robot in human skin walking around naked downstairs. Sadly it was just her being a pervert. Because once they arrived, the first thing Kana saw was a large machine that had a claw on it. It looked to be a factory robot. But Misaki, on the other hand, was much different. "Hehe… Isn't he dreamy? Look how big his servos are. Ahhh! I just want to rub my servos against his! So handsome!"
Misaki began waving at the large machine that didn't even move while yelling: "Hi handsome, remember me!?" After yelling, she began to blush and fiddle with her finger as she twisted her foot left and right, all while bashfully saying: "How about the two of us… You know… rub some servos together?"
Kana really had no idea what to think about what she was seeing. It seemed Misaki was not just an ordinary strange robot but an ultra omega strange robot! She decided to ignore the love sick robot who was still trying to communicate with an obviously inactive machine. She walked around and looked at what was being put together here. "Are these weapons?" Kana wondered as she looked at the things shaped like guns but were a very square shape. She picked one up, pointed it at the wall, and pulled the trigger on it. But all she got was a clicking sound. She decided to keep one in case Eie can do something with it to make it useful. The rest of the things she saw were just parts of other things as far as she could tell. At least she had no idea how they were used.
As Kana was about to head down to the next floor, she heard Misaki calling out to her in a drawn out manner. "MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTERRRRR~! He won't talk to me! What do I do!? I have liked him for so many years!"
Kana felt a headache coming on as she patted the robot's head. She, of all people, was the worst to ask when it came to relationships. After all, her first and only relationship was with Creige. Kana thought for a moment putting herself into Misaki's shoes before saying: "Then forget him. If he won't talk back, just ignore him. Find someone else with err… Umm… Big servos to have a crush on."
"Mmm… I will do that!" Misaki nodded her head. She felt this was a very good idea! She just had to find someone with bigger servos!
Kana shook her head and headed down to the fourth subfloor. It was here when Kana finally saw the so called cube object that she had read about. And the only words she could use to describe it was huge. It was massive. The fourth subfloor was at least a few kilometers deep and wide. The cube itself took up almost ninety percent of this space.
The cube, as far as Kana could tell, was a metal object with many glowing lines running through it. "Well, I guess the only way to really figure out what it is is to fly down there and check it out myself. Ganjo, you stay up here and guard the door in case anything happens like some kind of security measure. Misaki, you will go with me since you are familiar with the technology here."
"Okay, but Master, I can't fly..." Misaki replied, pursing her lips. She wished she could fly. Then she could find herself a new bigger servo some place for her to crush on.
"No problem, just hold on to me." Kana said as she reached her hand out to Misaki. Misaki looked at the hand stretched out towards her before ignoring it and jumping on to Kana, wrapping her arms and legs around her like a koala. And with an excited smile said proudly: "Okay, Master, I am ready!"
Kana was left speechless. She did not think the stupid robot would not understand what she meant! Sighing, Kana peeled the stupid robot off her body and held her hand. "Let's go."
"Huh? Oh! OH! I'm flying!" Misaki looked happy as she dangled in the air from Kana's hand.
Kana chuckled as she began lowering them down towards the ground below. She did it slowly in order to allow Misaki to enjoy the ride. When they landed, Kana looked up at this Galaxy Cube thing and felt quite amazed. "To think it was this big. For some reason, I felt it should have been much smaller but this is beyond what I expected."
