Kana saw Bell being taken away by guards. She saw the bruises on her body as if she had been hit and completely lost control of her emotions. She opened her mouth, and from it, an earth shattering roar sounded out, causing everyone in the area, the guards holding Bell, the people in the area watching the happenings, even Mike, who was trying to help Kana to be stunned.
"Roar!!!! How dare you touch my daughter!" Kana smashed through the carriage roof and flew up into the air. Her wings spread out behind her as her cold eyes looked at the guards holding Bell.
Bell's eyes began to water up as she looked up into the sky and saw her mama hovering overhead. To Bell, at this moment, her Mama was like a knight and shining armor who had come to rescue her. Overcome with emotion and the feeling of safety, she yelled out: "Mama! Mama! Bell wasn't wrong. The man tried to touch Bell and Bell killed the man like Mama said!"
"Let her go!" Kana's voice was like the words of god as she gave her order. The guards on the ground trembled in fear, but they did not let Bell go. Seeing this, Kana's anger grew even more. "If you do not let her go by the time I count to five, I will kill you."
"Who are you!" One guard finally came to his senses and asked.
"Five!" Kana ignored the man causing the man to feel cold sweat dripping down the back of his neck. "Four!"
"Let the girl go!" A voice came from the destroyed carriage. Mike slowly pushed the broken door open and stepped out. He brushed off the dust and debris off his arm then adjusted his suit. "Your Name is Bell, right? You are Kana's daughter?"
Bell looked at the Mike, then her Mama, who nodded to her, only then did she look at Mike again and nod her head. "Yes… I am her daughter."
"You can come over here. As for the rest of you!" Mike looked at the knights who were frozen in place, seeing Mike standing there in front of them. "Who is in command?"
"Me… Your highness..." One of the guards stepped forward. He was trembling in his boots. This person in front of him was Mike Von Folen. The current king of Fandel.
"Why did you arrest this girl?" Mike asked. Not caring for how scared the man was.
"She... She killed a noble." The guard answered. He knew he was about to be fired. He dropped to his knees and bowed his head: "I only arrested her because the Toruch family said that since she killed their son, she would need to take responsibility and marry their son and follow him into the afterlife to take care of him. I am just a commoner. I can not go against a nobles words…."
"Oh? They wanted to have a ghost wife wedding? Hmmm? In my kingdom, someone dares to have a ghost wife wedding? Kana watched as things unfolded and began to calm down. She floated down from the sky, landed in front of Bell, and hugged the crying girl in her arms. "Mama is here. It's okay."
"Kana... " Mike turned towards Kana and called out to her. "As a guest of my country, I have caused you both a major inconvenience. After I take you to the hospital, I will bring you to the castle and allow you to stay there for the duration of your stay in my kingdom."
Kana heard Mike's words and was going to reject him but instead asked: "Mike, if I may still call you that or would you prefer, Your Majesty?"
"Mike is fine.' Mike said with a smile.
Kana nodded and looked at Bell before asking: "Do you know of a woman named Melinda? She should be a pureblood vampire."
Mike's eyes widened, and then he looked at Bell and felt like he understood something: "I do… But I am sorry to say she was put to death for killing the last king. She was my mother… My guess is Bell..."
Kana was surprised at what she was hearing as she nodded her head. She quickly looked at Bell, who turned to look at Mike in shock. It took her a moment to process everything. "If Melinda was your mother, then that means..."

"The Toruch family have been stripped of their status and will be beheaded for conspiring against a royal family member. These guards will be punished to thirty years in the Flower Pot Brothel where they must serve one hundred customers a night each!" All of a sudden, the punishments Mike gave out were hundreds of times worse than before. The guards' faces all paled as they clenched their butts, knowing they would no longer be men after the night's end.
Kana raised an eyebrow and pulled Bell close. It seemed this man got angry for her daughter because he now knew they were siblings. Kana looked over at the carriage that she destroyed and sighed. "Mike, I apologize about the carriage..."
"Don't worry about it. A small price to pay. You were protecting your daughter, so there is no reason to apologize. If I had known she was my sister, it would have been me who had destroyed it first. I have another carriage coming, so let's go get your things from the inn and have a bite to eat while we wait." Mike had lots of questions for Bell. He wondered what she had to go through and what she experienced throughout the years. But now was not the time for that. After having to go through such a bad experience just now, he knew now was not a good time.
After grabbing the only bag they had with them, Kana, Bell, and Mike sat downstairs and ordered some food. Everything was quiet as they sat there waiting until Kana spoke up and asked: "Mike, you should be a pureblood vampire then, right?"
