Chapter 767: Trouble At The Treasure Pavilion

Kana said her goodbyes to Elder Ning after she left the mission pavilion and began heading to the other side of the sect where the treasure pavilion was located. Creige and the two girls followed along, checking out the sect. The group drew a lot of attention, but this did not bother them any. Kana was just happy to go out on a stroll with her family.

Because they were walking slowly, it took them almost half a day to get to the treasure pavilion. When they came up to the building, Kana quickly realized that the treasure pavilion was heavily guarded. She could feel quite a few sets of eyes on her. Creige and the girls also felt it and became more cautious. This kind of protection was understandable as the treasure pavilion held many of the sect's most precious treasures that could only be bought with millions of contribution points. The items inside ranged from special techniques, and cultivation methods, to weapons and resources.

Kana hooked arms with Yana and Rain as she walked forward. The two tall brutish cultivators standing guard outside immediately stepped forward. "Halt, show your sect tokens. No one is allowed in without a sect token."

"Ummm… This is not in the sect rules." Kana was not dumb. To hand over your sect token was the same as giving someone all your money. Only certain elders could force you to hand it over.

"Rules of the treasure pavilion state that you must show us your sect token before entering. Otherwise, you can scram." The biggest of the two brutes yelled out whole waving Kana off.

"So if I were to go get Elder Ning and the sect master right now and have them come here and tell them that you stopped me and my family from entering, they would side with you? Or do you think I am stupid enough to pass my sect token over when only certain elders can ask for it? Do you think I did not read the sect rules on the day that I entered? It says anyone is allowed to enter the treasure pavilion as long as you have your sect token on you. The array at the entrance will automatically detect if someone has their token or not." Kana stood firm. She was not dumb she made sure to understand the rules of the sect so she wouldn't be kicked out by accident.

"Rules are rules either you pass over your token to let us check or scram." The two guards obviously did not believe Kana could bring the sect master or Elder Ning over. So even if she was right, they did not think anything of it and continued with their normal practice.

"Hmmm…. Last chance, are you sure you want me to pass my sect token over?" Kana asked once more.

"Are you deaf!? If we say hand it over, then hand it over if not, scram!" The other brutish man yelled out, obviously angered that Kana kept pressuring them.

"Then…." Kana pulled out a small white piece of paper and spoke into it while injecting her spiritual qi into it. The white piece of paper transformed into a small white crane and flew off towards the sect master's peak.

It was only then, seeing the transmission talisman, that the two guards began to sweat. They thought with the cultivation of everyone there that the group was just a bunch of useless outer sect disciples with bad talent. They never would have guessed that Kana would have a transmission talisman that was made for speaking to the sect master. But there was no cure for regret. They could only stand there and wait to be punished and hoped they would not be kicked out of the sect.

Not long after, A man floated down from the sky. His cold, stern eyes looked at the two guards before turning to look at Kana. "Long time no see."

"Ah! Little Yong!" Kana yelled out with a smile. Her words making Lord Yong choke on air. He looked at the little girl who was smiling brightly and shook his head. She never gave him any face!

"Ahem… Little girl, the sect master asked me to come and help you out as he was busy preparing a few things for you and your family. What seems to be the issue?" Lord Yong cleared his throat and asked.

"These two keep asking me to hand over my sect token. But according to the sect rules, I do not need to do so. The array detects if I have the token on me. But these two keep insisting that I had to hand it over. It even states in the rule book that only certain elders can actually ask you to do such a thing." Kana continued to explain everything that happened while Lord Yong Listened. But the more he heard, the more he was getting an idea of what was going on.

Lord Yong turned and coldly looked at the two brutish guards who were now sweating bullets and had their heads lowered. "Pass me your sect tokens."

The two guards wanted to cry as they slowly reached to their waist and pulled out their tokens, and handed them to Lord Yong. Lord Yong took them and looked them over. "Hmm. Quite a bit you have hoarded. I guess I will make sure you make good use of them. Kana, pass me your token."

"Okay!" Kana passed her token to Lord Yong, who took it and tapped the other two tokens against it.

"There we go. This should help you prepare everything you need. Make sure you thank the two nice guards here for their generous donation." Lord Yong said with a bright smile as he handed Kana her token back before turning around.

Kana looked at her token, and her eyes shot wide open. "One million!?"

Kana never expected that she would end up with one million contribution points out of nowhere. She could not make sure everyone had everything they needed for cultivation! She was really excited now. "Thank you, Lord Yong!"

Hearing his name coming out of Kana's mouth, Lord Yong almost cried tears of happiness.
