"Father, why am I being called into the palace?" Wang Hai asked as he walked into the room.
"I do not know. But it was the new empress who called you in. I will be going with you to make sure she doesn't do anything to you." The Wang clan head replied.
"Haha! Maybe she fell for my charms, and I will become her new emperor!" Wang Hai did not see the strange look from the Wang clan head. He wondered if Wang Hai had not seen the current emperor.
"Just don't do anything out of line while at the palace. Don't forget the new empress is still very powerful." They were still making plans to kidnap the youngest daughter of the new empress in hopes of using that as leverage to continue doing as they pleased.

Kana, meanwhile, was sitting in the throne room while General Song placed his daughter's head into a small casket that Kana ordered someone to get. She was still angry, and her anger had yet to quell even after forty minutes of waiting. She never liked it when people did things like this. He looked arrogant, and when he saw General Song, he even sneered as if what he did was not wrong. What made things even more amusing for Kana was that they just stood there, not even kneeling, which is proper etiquette for everyone in the empire when they see the empress.
Kana had yet to even speak when the Wang clan head asked: "Empress, you called my son Wang Hai here?"
Kana yawned and ignored him as she stared at the two, not answering the old man's question. The Wang clan head was not stupid. He knew she was ignoring him on purpose. But he could also play this game.
"You! You bastard! I will kill you!" General Song suddenly yelled out when he realized that Wang Hai was standing there.
