The police officer called another police officer with high authority. The police officer told what Yu Qi told him.
Officer Ming Jung Cie took over Yu Qi's case.
"Can you explain in detail about the case, Doctor Yu Qi?" Officer Ming Jung Cie asked.
"Yes, Officer Ming." Yu Qi nodded.
She then explained what happened.
"I was working at the hospital as usual. The nurse told me, there was a patient that I need to attend. So, the patient entered the examination room. However, it was not the patient that I expected but a burly man. He told me that I should follow him if I don't want something happen to the other patients. He told me to inform others that I have an urgent matter to settle and left the hospital voluntary. I assume they did not want to make a fuss about that. However, even I got into the car, I saw they already brought someone else." Yu Qi began to tell the story.
"Who?" Officer Ming Jung Cie asked.
"This girl. Wei Ying, she is one of our nurses." Yu Qi gestured her hand to Wei Ying. "The kidnappers told me that they need someone to threaten me because they knew that I am practising the self-defence." Yu Qi explained.
"We were brought to a building at the northeast Town. We were put into a room. In the room, there was a masked man. He told me that I was a thing for their transaction. I don't know what he meant by that. Then he left. Three men were guarding us inside the room. However, something happened. There was a group of people came in the room and released us."
This time, Yu Qi began to change the story. Wei Ying noticed and looked at Yu Qi. That was not what actually happened. But she did not say anything. Then she thought about what happened. It seemed Yu Qi had killed the three men. She finally understood. Yu Qi did not want to tell the police officer about that.
"Who are they?" Officer Ming Jung Cie asked.
"I don't know about that. However, they are armed with the bulletproof vest." Yu Qi paused for a moment before continuing. "They told us to run out of the building as faster as we can. So we did. We run into a crowd of people. After that, I called my brother to pick us and where we are."
Officer Ming Jung Cie frowned. He took his phone and showed several pictures of a place.
"Is this place familiar to you?" Officer Ming Jung Cie asked.
Yu Qi looked at the pictures and nodded. "Yes. It is the building where we brought to earlier. Is this building on fire?"
"Yes, two hours ago, the fire department managed to control the fire. The most affected floor was the top floor. The police currently investigated about that." Officer Ming Jung Cie said.
"Then..." Yu Qi looked at Officer Ming Jung Cie.
"If what Doctor Yu Qi said was the truth, meaning the group of people who went to save both of you, were the culprit who started the fire." Officer Ming Jung Cie said. "By the way, we will investigate the group who kidnapped Doctor Yu Qi and Nurse Wei. Thank you for the report."
"Thank you, Officer Ming." Yu Qi nodded.
They left the police station. Yu Qi asked Tang Jin Wei to send Wei Ying home first.
"Wei Ying, you should take a day off tomorrow. It had been a terrifying experience for you." Yu Qi patted Wei Ying's shoulder.
"Okay." Wei Ying nodded. She was indeed feeling terrified by what was just happened to her earlier.
Tang Jin Wei and Ke Su Su also agreed with Yu Qi. They arrived at Wei Ying's house. It was fortunate that she was not living alone. Otherwise, she did not know what to do if she was alone.
"Tell your family about what happened earlier. I will also come and apologize to them as well." Yu Qi said.
