Wednesday, the day after Rika joined.
Today I’m going to the Intermediate tier dungeon ‘ghost cave’, it’s literally just a bunch of ghosts roaming around a dungeon. The ghosts have very high physical resistance, but on the other hand their magical resistance is quite low. So the basic method for clearing the dungeon is to either use magic or a weapon that has some sort of attribute.
Ghosts are also the first monsters in [Dun-life] that use magic. This dungeon is commonly known as the [berserker killer], because [berserker]s generally have only the bare minimum of equipment on, have low magic resistance, and only use non attribute physical attacks.
We decided to come because Rana got her long awaited magic attacks and Ester acquired an attribute skill. While I have [shine lightning] and Hannah has her fireball. Although I was a little worried.
“Kuh”
“Kukekeke”
“《Sonic sword》”
“《Fireball》”
A ghost ignored Ciaras [Provocation] and headed directly for Rana, so I distracted it with [Sonic sword] while Hannah defeated it.
After the battle was over Ciara came over to everyone, her shoulders slumped.
“I’m sorry.. I missed it again.”
“Its fine, ghosts are pretty difficult aren’t they?”
Ciara’s actually kind of amazing, this is real life so these are real ghosts. However ignoring her fear, she just continues forward without a single complaint. Meanwhile in the game this dungeon was notorious for making children pee themselves. But Hannah admitted that she thought the forest outside the starter village was scarier than this….
Ciara was however missing the target of her Provocation skill fairly often, she could use [Guard stance] to pull all the aggro from every enemy but she would take hits. Although that wasn’t necessarily an issue because her RES was high. I’d suggested swapping with me and I would be tank but since she didn’t have a way to attack she refused saying she would just be following me around.
“Just don’t over do it, even if you mess up we’ve got you covered. Just take it slow.”
“Thats right, Ciara is always helping me so it’s my turn to help! ”
“I’m here too of course, you don’t have to worry.”
“Thank you, I’ll do my best. ”
Our party has really high RES and Rana can just heal up any damage we might take, so it’s really no problem.
While we would normally already be to the boss area by Noon we’re progressing a bit slow today and decided to take a lunch break in the area between the 10th and 11th floor.
“Hannah’s cooking is a delicious as ever!”
“There so many dishes here that I haven’t seen, and they’re all fresh!”
“Thats because it’s a lunch box Lady Rana, it’s not something you’d normally see at the palace.”
“Its soo good, the dungeon is fun but, this is definitely the best part. ”
“Fufu, I’m glad everyone is enjoying it.”
Before I came here I used to think having to eat was tedious, but now I find myself looking forward to lunch. I too have to admit that the best part of coming into the dungeons is Hannah’s lunch. Of course it helps that I’m surrounded by beautiful women.
