For their part Kahlua and Rika had raised their levels to 10 in the tutorial dungeon and were heading into the tropical forest dungeon today.
I had already shared Maria’s requirements and our goals for the day with my party members.
“So today we’re going to head straight to the boss room. I want to focus on bosspop ok?”
“I’m fine with that.”
“Ok, since it’s for Hannah and I’ll be able to use healing anyway.”
“I have no objections.”
I’d made a schedule for this without consulting anyone but it seems like everyone was OK with it.

Rana puffed her chest out as she said this.

“Oh, it’s this. This is the crystal that the flame rod turned into.”
“Ooohh, that’s it?”
Everyone had gathered around Hannah to see and she showed them. She had embedded it in the tip of the Manalite staff. It was so much harder figuring out where to put it in real life. Normally I would just click the install option…
“So with this you’ll be able to use fireball, firelance and ice lance. What’s even more awesome is the ability ball can be removed and put on a different item with an empty slot as well.”
“Thats amazing, now that I saw it I can see why Zephyrus was talking so passionately about it the other day.”
“With this Hannah can play a more active role as well!”
“Is that why we are doing bosspop today?”
“Exactly, if we rush into the upper tier dungeons Hannah would would in trouble so we have to prepare a bit.”
I call it, Hannah’s big makeover!
This dungeon was on open field forest type dungeon. There was no underbrush and the wolves attacked by weaving in and out between the trees.
Ester and Ciara protected the rear guard as I moved forward using premonition go detect the enemies. Although in the upper floors the wolves only attacked from the front. Surprise attacks and ambushes didn’t come until later.
“They’re going to be coming from ahead, prepare to fight.”
“Ok!”
“Should I buff?”
“Just defense.”
“Ok 《Guardians blessing》”
At the sake time that we received the buff wolves appeared in front of us.
“Wouuuuuuuu!”
“There are 3, I’ll take 2 of them. 《Provocation》”
“Ok, Ester and I will take the other. Hannah, Rana, you two attack the two on Ciara.”
“Ok! 《Fire lance》《ice lance》!”
“Got it! 《Light blade》”
Hannah started with the new magic, although she doesn’t have MP recovery like Rana so she has to be a bit careful, the battle was over quickly.
“Good work, shall we continue forward?”
“Yeah, that wasn’t even a warm up.”
“I’m ok too.”
Since the two members using magic were okay we continued forward.
On the lower floors a monster called alpha wolf was appearing to lead the others but Ester was able to defeat it in a single blow with her long thrust and that the entire process a lot easier.
We ended up reaching the rest area outside the boss room by 10am, much earlier than usual.
